Diference between consumer and dealer catalouge?

Haven't been around for a while, and returend, when heard about a new site and downloadable catalogue. Yet (what a bad luck) -- caught only a tail -- a message about that a dealer's catalogue was posted instead if consumer's one. So, what sort of dangerous secrets are hidden in dev's catalogue and a...

Well, first suggestion -- tinker carefully. Endura/delica seem to be dangerously close to perfection.

One suggestion. Get (along with shaprmaker) a simple sharpening stone and learm freehand sharpening. There is nothing esoteric about it, just some knolege of what you are doing and decent practice. And results -- you are independent from any device (what if you land in a remote jungle, with only a a...

Some not too good book about knife fighting. Had some Spydie photos and said they were one of the best folding knives.

Favorite/special ways of opening Spydie?

What is your favorite or your special way to open your Spydie? I dislike the fingerprints on the polished blade(they just look very unneat), so I usually use "legal auto" techniqe -- you press front lock's lever and then even a slight wrist flick(or just lean, if pivot is oiled properly) w...

As far as I know, unless you work HARD wiht your knife (for ex. -- mass game caping or stuff like this) outdoors, you won`t have much problems with knife getting dull "all of a sudden". So edge holding is not as big issue as it is talked about. Also, I haven't had any problems with ATS-55 ...

As for me I do not like any kind of letters, words, setnences, stories, novels, pictures or other stuff on my knives. Exept for a steel brand and manufacturer near the handle. All this "design", IMHO, makes knife look like safe queen.

OT. Arachnophobes here?

I don't mean the blue one. I mean eight-legged beasts, spelled with "i". Must confess -- I'm afraid of them.
