I keep trying to tell myself that I have enough knives now..........but every time I see a PM2 I know there is a glaring hole in my small collection. It will be my next purchase for sure.

The quality of photo in this thread is exceptional, great work all!

I love the Techno, but part of its appeal to me is the fact that its a little tank of a knife.

Im sure a scaled up version would be a great knife, but nothing I would be especially interested in.

My Techno hasn't left my pocket since I got it, I love the thing. At first I also found it less than smooth to open, but I figured out it was because I was pushing on the lock bar as I was opening it. I lightened my finger grip and it opens with my thumb as smooth as butter. If I want to I can also ...

Are you impressed with the 0350? I think this will be my next knife. I am also considering the 0550. I am, I have used one quite a lot in the past which prompted me to get my own. I like the 0300 series better construction wise, but I don't need a folder that size. The 0350s size is perfect for me ...

My little big knives. The Ladybug is on my keys all the time, the Techno in my pocket. (Dragonfly in for a size reference as someone was asking about the size of the Techno). http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8062/8237390740_05e7777045_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8061/8237392146_73cb3ca31d_c.jpg

As I cannot get a Paramilitary 2 here in Japan I had to jump ship for this purchase. Great knife, and my favourite Spyderco is still in the pic!

Thanks for the advice everyone, I hadn't used a strop before so gave it a go. A few strokes on the back of my belt and the knife was instantly sharper. I still have a way to go, but I will incorporate stropping into my sharpening routine from now!

Cheers.

Techno (CTS-XHP) sharpening help/advice

So I started sharpening knives when I was a kid using a round fine sharpening stone and some spit, it worked a treat and I always managed to get my SAK razor sharp. Fast forward 20 years and I know have a fancy Sharpmaker which is just fantastic. It is easy to use and puts a razor sharp edge on my k...

The old blue G10 backspacer is a pretty contentious point on the Techno. While I think it looks great and makes the knife look a bit different to most other offerings, I can understand why some people don't like it. I am actually surprised that no-one is making custom back spacers yet in different c...
