As a casual forum lurker/poster, I hope Spyderco makes the right call and ensures that forum regulars (and they know who you are) get these knives. If there are enough left over I'd like to have one too, but I understand the purpose of a forum knife and won't be devastated if I don't get one. All go...

New Military

I just picked up a Military with the black blade and the digital camo scales. What an awesome knife! Sharp as a razor and built like a tank. I think I'm in love...

It's competing with my Manix 2 XL as my favorite Spydie. Or maybe my Temperance 2. Or my Bill Moran drop point. They're all awesome!!!

The Temperance 2 is a work of art. I love mine. It's definitely not a "beater" knife in my eyes. It's completely functional, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it on a hunting/camping trip. But having said that, I'd be sure to take good care of it. It's BEAUTIFUL. Get one in your hands. Then d...

Since I'm one of the newer members, and my name begins with B (alphabetical doncha know), I believe I should have first crack at one of these when they come out. Is that how it works?

My Manix2 XL "fits like a glove". Awesome knife. Great feel in the hand. BIG blade. And the price is right.

Why not more micarta handles?

I really like the micarta handle on my Temperance 2. Why don't we see more Spydercos with that type of handle/scales? It would make a cool knife even coooooler!

Thanks David. I do like the BBL. I'll have to find a local shop and get a Military in hand. You're right about the jimping I think.

First off I'd get rid of my Benchmade knives. Not saying they're junk, but when compared to the Spydercos in terms of value, it's no contest. Manix2 XL - EDC Temperance 2 - hunting Bill Moran Drop Point - hunting/camping Looking at my Manix2 XL, I find it hard to see myself buying a Military or Para...

Since we've veered off a little bit, I really like Spydercos fixed blade knives, and I LOVE my Temperance 2. The micarta handle is very comfortable in your hand. Why don't we see more micarta handle Spydercos?

I have the orange Bill Moran drop point and I love it! I think it looks pretty good too. And you're right - it's USEFUL. Once again, excellent materials, design, fit & finish, at a good price. It just works.
