Re: Why not a Native Salt?

I would like to see a Salt version of the Native 5 LW, with serrated H1, yellow scales and wire pocket clip. I think it would be awesome!!

Re: Stretch 2 is gonna be so cool and amazing!

I'd love to see a version of the Stretch 2 with S110v steel and blurple FRN. Anyone else agree?

Re: Deep Carry for Native 5?

Deep carry clip from the auction site on my N5 LW S110v. Auction states it's for the Tenacious, but it works fine on the Native. Clip contacts scale on the center medallion, so there's no pocket damage. Here's a link: https://goo.gl/tc0HJW (I have no connection to seller). http://i393.photobucket.co...

I put together a green G10 Dragonfly with ZDP blade. It's a lot easier to open and close with one hand than the FRN version.

Nope, if the blade does hit my thumb it just bounces off my thumbnail. And yes, it's very sharp. The weight of the blade alone is not enough to cut into the nail. I guess if you pushed the blade closed against your leg without moving your thumb you might get cut...that's not a good habit to get into...

I used my Byrd Cara Cara 2 Rescue SE to cut a piece of 3/4" PVC pipe to repair a water line. I tried a plain edge knife first and was not making much progress until I switched to the serrated edge. The serrated edge cut through the pipe really well.

It was the Outlet store that I called, they said they only have replacements for the clip screws. I'll just check some hobby shops in my area and see if they have something close to the right size. Thanks for the replies everyone.

Yes, I was using the right size bit. The screws were really screwed down tight by the factory, overtightened really. The screws are not the best quality and stripped quite easily. Edit: I forgot to mention I have the version with the G10 scales. I don't know if the FRN version uses the same size scr...

Meadowlark 2 Body Screws

Hi, I recently removed the scales from my Meadowlark 2 and managed to strip the heads of three of the torx body screws. Does anyone know the size of these screws so I can order some replacements? I called Spyderco, but they only carry replacement clip screws, which are a different size. Any help wou...
