Re: if you could only own a 5 Spyderco knife collection:
Fortunate to own all of them. The Sage narrowly pushes out the PM2. And I’m currently loving the Kapara, but not enough time with it for it to make the list.

Re: Top Steels and Scales for another Kapara sprint?
How do y’all feel about revival of super old threads? I just picked up a 20CV Kapara and now I’m wondering how I missed this knife when it was available. Can’t say that I agree personally about the comments on lack of grip, but different strokes… Anyway, now I want to rally support for a sprint. My ...

Caly 3.5 SB
LW chap
And recently the Sage 5 LW - it combines so many Spyderco essentials - great ergos, FRN, comp lock, leaf shape blade, maybe not the sexiest but sure is a fantastic daily user

Re: I want a Sage 5 in a premium steel!!!
The sage 5 LW has pretty much kicked everything out of my pocket for my daily work knife. I would LOVE a few variants. Olive green and K390 or Desert Tan and cruwear would be up there on my list.

Re: Sage 5 Lightweight
I’ve been loving the Sage 5 LW! I do hope we see some variations in the future. I do think a VERY slightly thinner blade would be nice. Handle color/steel/ serrated edge/ salt version would all be very welcomed in my book. Thanks again Sal and company

Re: Hope for the Caly 3.5?
While I am looking forward to the LW version, I also want to see the current model retain its liners. One of my most carried knives.
I would love to see any sprints of the current version or even just a g10 option for the zdp blade.
Thanks again Sal for this great design!

Re: Chaparral FRN CQI
Thanks for the response Sal. Not so much a problem. I’m comfortable tinkering just thought it was a funny coincidence that days after reading about the clip CQI I get first hand experience. I have since bent the clip back to shape and got it secured better. Such a great knife. Thank you.

Chaparral FRN CQI
In a recent post Sal had addressed the CQI of the Chaparral FRN, stating that the clip screw position was being modified. Like most who own a Chap FRN I am thoroughly pleased with it and hot not noticed any need for improvement. Then yesterday I snagged the wire clip on something and it popped off. ...

Re: Caly 3.5 Light Weight: Any News?
oh man, a drop point version would be really great. I think the drop point ukpk are some of the best looking knives. Unfortunately I don't have one because Im too worried about not having a lock. Need to overcome that someday soon

Re: Caly 3.5 Light Weight: Any News?
All the comparisons to the chap have made me kind of want an xtra light version with the same blade stock as the chap LW. i wouldn't want JUST that option, but that added version would be really cool. Maybe a drop point version too? I know I'm getting carried away but just love the caly 3.5 platform.

Re: Caly 3.5 Light Weight: Any News?
Definitely looking forward to this knife. Glad to hear it will be textured similar to the Chap. Also wouldn't mind to see the same texturing as the ukpk.
Would also love to see a g10 version return.

PM2 Change of clothes!
Some back story... I picked up the Cruwear w/ polished g10 handles because I was excited to try out the Cruwear. I couldn't get used to the polished handles They just felt too slippery. I planned to just find a set of plain black g10 scales on eBay so I could finally put it to use. And I finally did...

Have eyed the BBS PE lil Matriarch for a while. Late night beers and online shopping finally made me do it. Should be here in a day or two. Excited to try this one out.

Re: Street Beat Sprint
Love my street beat. Would love LOVE a k390 or solid super blue version with a very slightly thinner grind or thinner stock. With maybe a burlap g10 or micarta handle like the temp 2 would look great I think.
