Amazon is the worst place to buy knives. You will either get returned knives or partially used knives marked as brand new, Amazon is not as reputable as people seem to think. Learnt my lesson buying two Kershaw knives from them....that being said, bear in mind that Spyderco is on mass production cap...

Whats your budget?

Low - Persistence/Ambitious

Mid - Dragonfly 2

High - Chaparral

The Chaparral CF in my opinion is the definitive EDC Spyderco have ever made. Amazing materials and tolerances, the Dragonfly is not bad either. If you do get the Dragonfly, get the G-10 version.

KC pre-orders are not reliable. I know some people who pre-ordered a ZT 0600 and have yet to receive it. Sometimes patience pays, you just got to be on your guard and police the forums frequently for information.

Since we had CF and Ti, and the plans for the C4 already are complete....how about we combine CF and Ti for the C5. It could be like a CF inlay with some meticulous Ti design....ok not too meticulous :D Combination 1: - Ti handle with CF inlay and CTS-XHP Combination 2: - Black Al/Ti handle with mul...

Those are some sweet pics Landon!!!

You're very welcome Doug! You should really look for a ZDP Caly Jr. They are amazing slicers and the burgundy color really is more aesthetically pleasing in hand than pictures.....and the pivots are unbelievably smooth like handling an AXIS BM (on the black ZDP)

Like the fluted Ti native 5 no one knows how many will eventually be produced. There are some dealers who don't take pre-orders. If you really want one go get one, but you should be ready to pull the trigger as soon as they are released. How long did it take to sell out the available Fluted Ti Native...

Being on night shift I actually fell asleep on my table 15 minutes before 9am MDT and woke 45 mins after the knife went online. I was literally about to cry but was smiling like a goofy little kid in a toy store when my order got processed :D

Need to find me a Moonglow N5 now before the CF comes out!

It will be interesting to see how the release of the Chaparral 3 will affect the future of the series. If it comes out and it sells poorly, I imagine the line will gravitate to lower costing scales. If it comes out and sells well, I imagine we will see some very crazy scales in the future. While wh...
