Sorry for the late reply. I use DT Swiss stainless steel spoke wire :) Works well. Very stiff and doesn't rust!

Badfish. The ones I have made have never snagged on me. The forward lips are low profile enough that they don't snag :)

I already bend my own wire clips for my Spyderco's and retrofit my other knives with wire clips. I just love the wire clips compared to flat stamped steel clips.

Now with this machine, maybe I can make them faster! As it takes time measuring, bending and heating them to the way I want them.

@ Evil D, I make my own pocket clips for all my folding knives. That's why it's different :) Mine are a little stronger than stock cuz that's the way I like them. I'm going to make a stonewashed one for it soon!

Got my Manix 2 Lightweight in black a few weeks ago. Thought I'd try a larger blade to see if I like it. It is now my favorite EDC blade!

BTW, how did Eric come up with the name Manix. Is there a story behind it?
