The important features of a good friction folder are:

- adjustable tension on the pivot: the knife is held closed in your pocket by the friction, so it may not be a really slick opener.
- the extention of the blade may not be too long. the longer it is, the more chance of accidental opening in the ...

You can do a lot with the principal features of the higonokami.

The friction on these friction folders is adjustable. They are comfortable in the pocket. With a little training they are one handed openers.
These have "peelply" textured hunting orange G10 scales and 1/8" A2 steel blades: I carry a ...

It is a pity the knife could not go into production, but the liner lock and frame lock folders that Filip designs and makes are great too.

I'm looking forward to see the finished production knife.
