So I need some advice...

I have recently been in they market for a motorcycle, not any in particular, and came across a guy who is willing to trade me his 03 sportster 1200. I like the bike and I feel I can get a good deal, but I know nothing about Harley's and what to look for, like common problem areas ect. I have had spo...

I think the lesson here is you need to pick your battles wisely. I can't see why the man was really even arrested, but he didn't comply with officers and it seems in the video they gave him a chance. He could have simply got in his car and left, his choice to confront the police after he put the dog...

Probably very unlikely. I was speaking more towards your desired amount of penetration into a soft target. I would have to disagree, interior walls are quite thin and offer little resistance. The round may expand but it would not give it a proper medium for the round to decelerate, allowing it to p...

I have very little experience with the m&p line but I have heard good things, the gen 4 glocks have adjustable back straps that let you find the right fit, not sure if you got to experience that. I personally like the glocks as they have easy to find accessories. And depending on what you are go...

I had a good experience with HP's website recently. I built what I wanted ~$1200 computer then found a discount code on retailmenot.com and got $400 off my pc. Not really sure if anything like that still available, as these codes expire, but I think it is worth looking into. You may find a deal on a...

Pocket Clip Problem...

Well yesterday I was squeezing between my car and another and put a nice scratch in my car the whole length of the fender. This is not the first time I have done this but this is by far the worst, normaly they buff out. I have to have the knife clipped I can't stand it loose in my pocket. I was wond...

I should have a suppressor to put on it before too long. What suppressor(s) are your considering, or have already purchased. I have been having a hard time choosing as it is a big purchase with no guarantee of actually receiving it. Right now I'm torn between the AAC ti-rant and a YHM cobra m2 the ...

I feel like I do this every summer/winter. I tend to carry smaller in the summer and when I start carrying my D'fly or Dodo again I am always so impressed by them. Same thing happens in the winter when I go back to my larger knives.

Firearms are my first love, Spydercos are a relatively new passion of mine. Lately I have been tracking down late 70's early 80's Sigs, and a first gen Glock 17. But my favorite would have to be the good old 1911. Kimber super match is my comp gun and it has done me well.

or carry a knife at all. Correct me Ohio citizens but isn't this true for you? If you have a CCW you can carry a firearm but knife carry is Illegal? That is true, if the knife exceeds the length limit. The state is very vague about what is illegal when it comes to length but certin cities are very ...

Titanium Frame Lock Question

Not a Spydie so I'm posted here. This is my first ti-frame lock and I noticed it was "sticky". Is this a common issue that works its self out with time? I can see it being common as they are two different metals with different properties. Also is there something I can do to reduce this, li...

Does he carry a laptop or anything big? also have a Kodiak which I would consider too big to carry every day but it's not much bigger than a standard bookbag styled backpack. For a bookbag styled bag, I have a Pygmy Falcon. I'm not sure exactly what he carries on hikes, but he is still in college a...

A Birthday Present (day-pack/backpack)

I was looking into some of the maxpedition packs at Howe's to get my brother-in-law for a birthday gift. He is very much into hiking and I would like to get him something he will use. One problem, I don't really follow these things and I don't know what makes a good day-pack. Any input would be much...

I think this is a great idea (but who am I...lol). I think if I knew why a knife was made they way it was. For example the Dodo, why is the blade shaped that way ect. If the egros were explained and maybe the reason for the steel choice, would be very educational for someone like me. Also I feel if ...
