From what you listed, it sounds like you are the perfect candidate for a Balance. Not everyone likes the way it looks but in my opinion it is a very functional little knife. It's well built and plenty sturdy, locks in nicely in the hand, and thanks to the big choil and blade angle, it is easy to man...

It's interesting to hear that a knife has too much detent as it is usually the other way around. I've had some liner lock knives from other companies with this issue. Usually when there isn't enough detent on the blade, increasing the tension in the lock bar will fix it. (when the lock bar houses th...

You lost your shift key too

J/P :p

It's always awful to have something lost/stolen. I think it's the personal aspect that gets at me the most. I haven't lost or had anyone steal one of my knifes, but have had plenty of other things go missing. It always sucks.

I really like my Saber grind Delica. The saber grind seems to give me more confidence while cutting, not having to worry about damaging the blade like I would on the FFG.

The issue with a barrel clip for use on the Military is the fact that the lanyard hole isn't very large. There are more people out there that do excellent work besides STR. If you search blade forums they are easy to find. All that you would need to have done is to tap the other side of the handle t...

My guess: 1. Southard 2. Tuff 3. Szabo/Ulize 4. Techno/Chaparal The fact that the Southard is the first flipper design for Spyderco, I think it will be a big hit with collectors and buyers alike. The Techno is very cool but I see the others being more 'collectible', same with the Chaparal since it i...

The Vesuvius was a 'smaller' sized compression lock. I am not totally sure about whether it was available with serrations or not. It is an older model so I think it would have been.

I feel like it's just too big for me to EDC. But that's what I thought about the Para2 before I got one. I guess I'll have to pick one up and see how I like carrying it around, sounds like I won't be disappointed.

Those are some sweet mules  At first I didn't really care for this mule but after a little I actually really like it (of course after it's gone which seems to happen a lot). It's one seriously sweet do it yourself bushcraft knife of course perfect for outdoor use. If I had the tools to do some...

This thread has certainly brought out some 'colors'...

Just like everything else worth money there will always be someone looking to make money on it. That being said, there are just too many other items I would rather flip than knives as I enjoy them too much.

Yes, the ZDP will be cool. I'm still deciding whether or not to get one yet. I already have the SE Ladybug3. But I really like the FFG as well as the added blade stock thickness of the Manbug. The end result looks awesome, they really did a great job with the serrations, well worth the hold that Sal...

Haha, brought back many memories of Cobb county and thinking of old school trips... fun stuff. But yes, the centers official name is of course 'the Galleria'. :) I usually only call the mall in there the Galleria.

No one else has any thoughts on what might be at BLADE?...

There is a Byrd model which is pretty much exactly that.

The Cara Cara 2 BY03BK which is very similar to the Police, it's all black TiNi coated SS handle and blade.
