Re: Indirect Buying/Selling on the Forums
You should be able to buy, sell and trade all on here just so long as it's Spyderco only knives. I'm a mamber of Case, Benchmade and other forums as well and every other knife forum allows it but Spyderco. I think it's actually good for the brand because it helps promote it

Re: Benchmade Proper
I carry an Orange and Black Triage every day and it's my favorite knife. I can open it from any position but upside down just with a flick of the wrist. It has glass breaker and seat belt /bandage cutter which might come in handy in an accident or if you came up one on the road. Also in case there w...

Re: Benchmade Proper
For me it's a bit too long for loose front pocket carry. I like something around three and a quarter like the Case 087. However I have totally switched to the Benchmade Axis lock. There is nothing else on the market like it. I have had problems with every other lock type out there but the Axis

Re: Is blade play exeptible in slipjoints?
I carry a German Eye large lockback Sodbuster in my right back pocket as I have several years now and this knife still shows no signs of noticeable blade play. Also I have a Canal Street Canittler that I carry in my left front pocket which was made in 2007 and none of the three blades have any signi...

Re: Lever action repeaters
Browning used to make lever actions with clips that you could shoot pointed bullets in. I have a Marlin 357/38 and while not exactly what you think looking for I really like it. My Brother had a .444 Marlin that kicked like a Mule and you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it.I would go with...

Re: if ya have to choose one...
Can't beat the Benchmade axis lock. And I would rather have a manual than auto because you can do so much more with the manual. The only way you are going to one an auto Is with that little button but suppose you can't find it or get to it. Every Benchmade I have can be turned upside down and with a...

Re: Ever like a knife but not the sheath, or vice versa?
I look at the sheath first and if it's not Kydex pop in and out I don't buy the knife or even look at it. I look at the clip on a folder and if it not tip up I don't buy it. That's why I've never owned a Military and never will until one is made with tip up clip. I spent 27 years in the Military and...

Re: Glock is still trying
I have owned practically every kind of handgun worth owning and wouldn't have anything but a Glock. The only Glock I can't recommend is the 42 and 43 because they don't make higher rear sights for those two. According to the person I talked to at Glock they didn't think the high sights would look ri...

Re: if ya have to choose one...
I'll be a Benchmade fan from now on since I've had some kind of problem with every lock type there is but the Axis. You simply can't beat the Axis lock and there's no one single thing of interest in the 2017 Spyderco catalog. I have a Benchmade Triage Orange and Black that I love also two 940 Osborn...
