I would like to see a micarta version with liners, but i dont think that would be a very popular. Or the frn to have the the nice volcano grip found on other frn models such as the dragonfl...

Re: Lady Bug and Manbug
I've got a salt hawkbill lady bug and love it, but am not allowed to legally carry it in the UK. So it stays in the tool belt.
The man bug with bolster and g10, and the ladybug series, I would love them to also to come in a slippie variety.

Finish on the roadie frn?
Evening all, Been carrying my roadie orange for a few months , and I really like the finish on the scales. It feels nice and solid like it has liners. Cleans up nice and easy when dirty. I like it better than the waffel pattern on the squeak, urban, ukpk etc. It feels slightly tumbled/blasted, Has th...

Re: Least/most parts in a folder
Just checked my tool bag, not sure if the ss grasshopper has washers.
If it doesn't
I've got
2x handle slabs
1x back spring
1xblade
3x flush scale pins
So a possible 7 parts on the ss slippies.

Least/most parts in a folder
What spyderco folders have the least and most parts? This is just out of curiosity!, while sharpening my spy-dk I counted, 2x handle slabs 1x blade 1xback spring 1x clip 6x bolts So 11 parts. Without handling either of the below, I would say the: dog tag may have the fewest And the new jani song cou...

most variants?
This has proberly been asked before, but what model has had the most variants? Including all handle material,( colours) blade steels , edges etc? My uneducated guess would be the native, being its on model 5. But there has been lots of para military sprints, but the delica, endura have different col...

slippie style volpe/ spyfox mini??
I'm probably in a minority here but would there be any interest in a spyfox style slipjoint? I love the simplicity of contoured wood scales over metal liners. I own a fallkniven u1 in cocobolo which is very similar. And a very well made knife with a good steel. But I'm a spyderco fan and would love ...

Is it too early to start thinking about the meet? And the best thread on any internet forum? Re: Sal, any interest in a Stockman slip it?
Oh my a thread that I have been dreaming of for a very long time. A spyderized traditional sub 3 Inch slippie would be a dream. I don't think a super high end steel is required. Vg10 ,n690co. Would be great Liners and bolsters are a must. And would love micarta or polished g-10 handles . Would also ...

Re: H1 Steel Blade Scratch Question
The hole in the blade exposes the full cross section of the steel.
I haven't seen any rust forming on my se hawkbill lady bug around the inside of the hole.
So in my opinion a scratch would not make is less rust proof.
But don't quote me on this though :) as I'm no steel expert.
