I really don't think it's very functional, for my use anyway. It adds "character" to the knife and just looks good. That's why I voted YES.

For me it's Christmas in Killarney. I worked for a very Irish bank in the '70s and they played Muzak (anyone remember that?) and every other song during Christmas they played it. Drove me nuts. 40 years later it still makes me cringe. Oops...sorry if I offended any of you Irish guys!
