Re: Spyderco UTILITY Knife...

I would be the first in line to buy several of these. I brought up this topic not to long ago and it didn't seem like there was much interest. I'm a contractor and I use a utility knife dozens of times a day and would love a Spyderco version. I like to use my Spydies as much as I can but if I'm scor...

Re: Any interest in a Spyderco utility knife (box cutter)

The reality is that a $10 knife would work for most people but people still pay $100-$500 for a kni that does basically the same thing. Re: Any interest in a Spyderco utility knife (box cutter)

I use my utility knives a lot for cutting trim coil metal and things that wear down the tip or break the tip so I like using something that I can replace. I carry a Military most days and do like the wharncliffe style blades as well.

Re: Any interest in a Spyderco utility knife (box cutter)

I'm talking about a nice titanium folding type knife that I can put utility blades in. I have tons of Spyderco knives but have to look for opportunities to use them because I'm constantly using my utility knives.

Any interest in a Spyderco utility knife (box cutter)

Anyone else interested in a Spyderco utility knife with replaceable blades? I would buy one in a heartbeat. I'm a carpenter and a lot of of the time use a box cutter for different tasks and would love to be using a Spyderco. How about it Sal? Say yes and I'll be your first and second customer (will ...

Any update on ship dates? Can't wait for this one.
Download the app and it'll tell you when it ships.
I have the app, just wondering if it's weeks away or months away from shipping 👍

All depends on the environment that you work in, for me its not to big at all. Of course I also walk around with a roofing hatchet hanging from my tool belt some days :)

Just so you know, I loosened the pivot on mine but all that did was let the blade lean towards the g10 handle side. It was still just as hard to open, the only difference was the blade wasn't centered. The spydie hole on this knife is mainly just for show as it is much easier to open the blade by us...

I just spoke with Jim at Howes knives and he told me that they are available to anyone. Apparently some of the collectors couldn't come up with the funds so Howes is getting some of those extra knives. I just ordered one and I'm not a collectors club member.
