Got my first Sypderco today!

Military with G10 with black s30v combo. Everything is just as great as I thought it would be. Really stoked on it!

I also have a KME sharpening system and strops with .5 micron compounds on the on the way so I can see how crazy sharp I can get this.

IMO, Spydercos are like Glocks to the handgun ...

Cool. Thank you all for your help.

I'm going to sleep on it but I'm thinking of using my s30v,g10 combo military until the military2 comes out (whenever that is). Not exactly a bad thing. :-) I'm going to try to determine the best complementary simultaneous carry knife to my military and get that ...

Has there been any word of a Military2?

Just wondering if it's been mentioned by Spyderco ever.

Blerv: I'll probably do that. Knifeworks is sold out on the pre-orders for that knife. Do you know if anywhere else is selling the m390 sprint?

mikerestivo: That's so true.

If I weren't so new to knives (I've been reading like a madman for 3 days only), then I would have more confidence to know "that I actually know" what I like. I look at a CR Sebenza with Micarta inlays for $440, and know that it's cool and respect the quality, but it ...

I love an crazy over the top edge. I guess the feeling stems from the nostalgia from when my grandpa used to spend hours with me sharpening knives and trying to determine how sharp it was by paper tests, shaving, etc. (all the stuff we see on youtube now that I'm looking for it). Good memories.

Are ...

I really want that S90V though... It seems that Spyderco could sell the S90V CF all day if they offered this as a standard option. I'm not sure why most knife makers aren't using it, charging more if they must, as it appears there is much demand for it.

How often does Spyderco "re-run" a sprint ...

Expected value of S90v CF Military

I've been kicking myself all day from not buying a s90v cf Military on ebay today. Final bid for the mint, never used, knife was $475. This knife just "does it" for me. I didn't pull the trigger because my first Military (g10, black combo blade) will literally be arriving tomorrow and I caught ...

Oh man...I'm going to regret this

I'm getting back into knives again after 20 years or so. I've been researching my butt off and last week I ordered a Military which will be here tomorrow. Looking at all the knives out there and watching tons of youtube vids I'm confident this knife is what I want. However, I really wanted the s90v ...
