My 110-120 lb (when overweight) Giant Schnauzer, now deceased, was one I'd love to replace. He only gave us 10 years, but I guess that's par for big dogs. Wonderful breed IMO. Still have a young (3yr) German Shepherd female, so we're not dogless. Anyway... I just recently added a Blind Horse leather...

Standard PM2 or Military. I wouldn't go too crazy on the super-steel sprint-run possibilities, which would cost more, and potentially be more of a pain to keep sharp. I wouldn't be looking for a collector's item, although finding a PM2 may seem like it at times. Some deployments there are very diffe...

Probably an Enuff here too, either the leaf or the one known as clip point.
I'd been thinking of getting an Izula II, and the Enuff is listed as the same size. VG-10 is a personal favorite.

I'd swear that the Taiwan S30V steel (Sage1 and Chaparral) seems very different from the Golden, CO S30V steel (Mil and PM2).
As I remember it, they liked the strop.

Delica.

I've got 3 different Delicas. It seems like an ideal EDC size.
For Natives, I kept the Native 5. Not that the FRN Native is bad at all, but the Native 5 is that much better (IMO).

Either one would be good, but the FFG Delica 4 would be my choice.

The CTS-XHP Manix II is one of my favorites, so this is a no-brainer. (I'd been waiting for MT14.)

I don't have any fixed blades this small, but I'd been considering an Izula II, and this is the same size. I don't mind FRN handles, but I'd probably have to handle one to see the fit. VG-10 is a favorite. This version looks good, and the clip point Enuff looks nice too, but is that really a clip po...

Dragging this thread back to life because I'd just had someone local recommend Fluid Film. It wasn't readily available so I ordered some online, and haven't tested it yet. I've been using Tuf-Glide/Tuf-Cloth recently, and it seems to work fine. But, a lot of my outdoor knives will get some food or m...

Glad I've already got the LH Military.
I don't think of myself as "cheap", but if the Sypderco T-Shirt wasn't $35 I'd have bought one (or more) by now.

I like the Fallkniven F1 as well, even with its smallish handle. I've been tempted to get one of the Bark River handled versions, but haven't so far. Now that I think about it, I've got three differrent models from firesteel.com. All have a scraper included. Not sure if all firesteels are created eq...

I'd reverse the question, and ask "Which folding knife would you wish had a fixed blade version?" A PM2 or Military would be a good start.

Mule Team #14

I see that there is now a Mule #15 listed in the online catalog:
http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=778

Is the Mule #14 on hold?

Semi off-topic: Is there a way to get the online catalog to list in alphabetical order again? It was a lot easier to use that way IMO.

Well, I ended up buying one, and I'm very satisfied with it so far. With a couple passes, the P80 belt made my axes/hatchets sharper than they've ever been. For knives, the P220 belt seems very aggressive. I've ordered belts in a couple intermediate grits. I notice that Work Sharp sells some additio...

Anyone Tried the Worksharp WSKTS?

Looks interesting, and the price is fairly low. It might be worth a try, but I wondered if anyone's had any experience with it. Links: http://www.worksharptools.com/ http://www.amazon.com/Work-Sharp-WSKTS-Knife-Sharpener/dp/B003IT5F14/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1343424943&sr=8-1&keywords=wor...

It doesn't look any different from that photo, but speaking of choil, the one thing I'd add to (or at least test with) the GB2 is liner jimping (similar to the Manix2).

This is a leading question...
I had a small Swiss Army Knife on my keyring for years-and-years, until I realized I practically never used it, AND it became a civilian travel liability.
In most situations, I've got blade options, but I no longer carry a key-chain knife.

The clip is a non-issue to me. For this size knife, I'd remove the clip anyway.
The one reason I'll have to pass on the Air is that it's very right-hand oriented, blocking the Spyder hole from left-hand use.
I'm fairly ambidextrous, but it does appear to be an anti-left-handed design.
