Thanks for the support. I mailed the package in, and USPS tracking says it arrived on the 13th. I look forward to seeing if it can be worked out. I am hoping that you guys received it and it was a clear "whoa, that never should have made it through quality control" one-defective-part kinda...

enuff sheath problems

I love my new leaf point enuff but am starting to really wonder about the sheath. It seems to have a ton of wiggle room where the lips engage around the distal part of the handle and the knife has fallen out actually on several occasions, which I consider pretty unacceptable. By comparison my aqua s...

i'm in. VG-10 vs H1, I still can't decide. (honestly, I think I like H1 better, but I like my VG-10 knives better for other reasons).

Thanks for the giveaway!

I think by molded, they mean ergonomic or shaped. They are afraid of tactical looking knifes, which I think are associated in non-knife-people's-minds with an aggressively contoured finger-grooved handle. I have been brainstorming a lot about this, and I think I have a great idea. I think the answer...

Hi Broo, We'll begin with the serrated sheepfoot in H1 first. Then we'll go from there. What blade shapes would you prefer in H1? sal ! super-excited to get a response from the boss-man! I would love an H1 Plain-Edge Leaf, but if there happened to be more demand for an H1 Plain-Edge Clip, I would n...

please please please make a plain edge H 1 version! Ideally in the leaf point or clip point shapes, this would be the ultimate hunting and camping knife in my opinion. I understand the sheepsfoot would be great for water and rescue purposes, but an h1 leaf or clip point would be so awesome for bush...

wow. didn't expect to get so much hate about that. let me address these comments. first off, it wasn't at the expense of a "small business." i don't think that necessarily makes much difference in terms of the moral argument here, but since that was cited as one of the reasons my actions w...

But... how will the Native be different enough from the Delica to justify? well, if the native is perfect, it'll replace the delica as EDC. and then the orange delica might be reserved for backup hunting/camping knife, due to bright color and visibility etc. and sure, i could've used the para2 for ...

so i returned my para2...

i got the knife, was enamored with the pleasure of holding it and playing with it, but just couldn't find enough justification to keep it. (i know some people collect any nice knife they get a hold of, but i am trying to simplify a bit, and knives that are redundant or don't fill a specific niche, i...

unfortunately i had to switch pocket clips back; my place of work discourages knives, and the silver clip on the orange knife was just so noticeable. with the black, only a little nubbin of orange shows. of course, i could just carry my black Salt I, but this orange delica is just so cool and sleek ...

i just played around with my new FFG delica, and whittled some hair for the first time. in the process, I realized that I think I had been doing it wrong in the past, so I went and grabbed my Salt I (which I have abused and resharpened many times), and did this: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ur...

so my FFG delica also arrived. i intend to use the delica as EDC @ work and at more uptight functions, and the para2 as a heavy duty knife for hiking, camping, self-defense from violent neighborhood dog if needed, etc. i love both of these new knives. the Salt I and Pac Salt that I have will certain...

loosened up the pivot screw a bit; behaves much better : )

also flipped the clip to tip-up. seems to draw better from the pocket this way, and leaves my hand in a better position to open it.

no, it's not that loose. it stays put if i do as you described. i am ok with some resistance though. i may loosen the pivot a bit later. another question - are the pocket clips on delica 4 and para 2 the same? ie, could i swap the black clip from the incoming delica with the stainless clip from this...

first impressions: -it's more substantial and heavier than i thought. it's a very burly knife. -the compression lock is pretty versatile, which I love; i can operate like a mid-back-lock (which i find myself doing reflexively) or with index finger + wrist flip. pretty cool. kinda hurts my index fing...
