Why do you prefer the Chaparral? I had initially narrowed my list down to these 4: Delica, Native, Sage and Chaparral. From there I narrowed it down to the Native. But I'm open to having my mind changed. The Chap has a much thinner blade. It’s about as slicey a knife as Spyderco makes. The Native 5...

Small: Under 2.5”
Medium: 2.5”-3.5”
Large: Over 3.5”

I am sure I could break it down more but this is pretty simple way I look at sizing. I am sure I could add a XS and XL category too.
Agree with this breakdown

FRN Chaparral internals compatible with Maple Chaparral?

When the serrated FRN chaparral comes out, I am hoping to move the serrated blade into my Maple chaparral. Generally the lockbar and the blade need to stay together and I know the FRN chaparral has slightly different internals than the rest of the models. Has anyone take both these apart and compare...

Only really carry three these days. Dragonfly Monday-friday, chaparral on weekends, and GB2 when doing anything outdoors

Re: Just a pocket knife

I am still a one knife guy, (well two if you count the Vic classic on my keyring) and carry a salt Dragonfly serrated daily. Pocket clip stays on cause it’s in my waistband to save pocket space, but man that knife feels sooooo good in hand sans clip! Sometimes I think a slip joint dragonfly would b...

Hey stranger! Feels like it's been a bit since I've seen your name pop up around here.
Hey! Been about a year since I posted. Got into another hobby this last year so wasn’t too active with the Spyderco forum.

Re: Sandrin Torino On-going EDC review (pic heavy)

Have you guys seen the new torino? It has cf scales, and looks awesome. Yep I saw it. It's a nice variation, although personally I like the "utility" look of the red G-10. What I'd rather see is a longer blade! I just reread back through this thread. Such great work you did here. I haven'...
