Excellent flic. Like Ted I had to go back and watch again to fully get the layers of humor. I suspect I can watch it over and over again as the depths are plumbed.

Darn ___ Looks like I'm out. The sizing only runs to 13 and I am definitely a 14. Looks like a great solution. Another problem with being too tall. Darn it.

All excellent suggestions. However, no one has mentioned some form of light. There are several approaches, but being without would definitely slow one down.

Re: Super Transportation question: What are your thoughts?

This is a bit dated (1970) but I went and spent a summer on a motorcycle. Met some really nice local people, had a great time. Spent four months and would have stayed longer if I had more money. The language problem, in all cities, was overcome by hand gestures and sounds, when ordering a meal. I wa...

Re: Your thoughts on S90V

Just a thought from the uninformed (I'm truly enjoying this discussion.) If one steel was superior to all others and one shape superior and one size superior, why does Spyderco et al make so many combinations of blades, steels, etc? I'm not even going to address the thought of various heat treating ...

Re: name your top 3 Salts/H1 models

I've needed the following:

Rock Salt
Spyderhawk Salt
Salt 1 Yellow

Depending upon the need in question, if it's close to the ocean, I pick one to accompany me.

Re: If you could only keep three...

Got to have:

Gayle Bradley
Domino
Calpso Jr in ZDP189

And then for a fixed blade:

Rock Salt

I know that's four, but I figured three folders and 1 fixed blade would be ok.

Re: Things to do in the Denver Area

Araneae didn't say when he's coming, I would recommend checking the weather for Denver. We are setting records for the lowest high, today it is 2, degrees, Fahrenheit. WOW! Not fun for sight seeing. The mountains are actually warmer. 20 or so. Who knows. Any way, if the weather permits, there are a ...

Re: Artificial Islands and Habitats for humans

The bulk of current practical design that I've read about say that the bulk of the work in this area is being done in the Benelux countries. Not to surprising since they could very easily flood from a broken dyke. Therefore a floating home makes a great deal of sense. But it is not just there that i...

Re: Why are modern commercials so "open" and "blunt"?

Excuse me for waxing philosophic, but a comparison to Marshal McLuhan's, "The Media is the Message" seems necessary. I know most of you have not heard of this, but a progression can be drawn from the Great Depression, radio, to the fifties and the sixties, the TV, the seventies and the eig...
