Re: Texas Knife Laws
Thanks for the reply! I am aware of the locking blade law, but have talked with local law enforcement who all agree that it's basically like you said; something to add on to more serious charges

Texas Knife Laws
Hi, I just had a quick question regarding the Texas laws on knives, and any Texas resident who can chime in would be greatly appreciated! I'm looking to buy a Benchmade 51 bali and wanted to double check that they are legal now. I remember around a year ago that they legalized switchblades, and I be...

I have resisted this thread but just to comment: I wish Spyderco would bring back the Salsa, with the compression lock, in colors, no cobra hood, with VG10 steel. I never liked AUS8 but I do like the VG10. One with VG10 would be amazing! Why don't you like the cobra hood though? This is my first sp...

Well I picked it up and settled at $50. Here are a couple pictures of the blade and then just the rest of my current spyderco SMALL collection. I have about just as many other spydies in my house as gifts to other people but these are just my personal blades. The salsa is such an awesome little big ...

Spyderco Salsa On Craigslist
Hi, so I recently found a salsa on Craigslist. It's aluminum for both scales and has a pepper on the front scale with salsa written in the middle. I have no reason to think it's fake, other than I've never seen a salsa with only aluminum for the handle and with the pepper and salsa engraved. Is this...

Sage 2 A Little Too Stiff?
Hey I just got a Sage 2 and I notice that it seems very stiff and a little grindy. I know it's the nature of a frame lock but it kind of annoys me after knowing how smooth my sage 1 is. I've even handled a sage 2 before at a gun show and it was ridiculously smooth, so what are some tricks you'd reco...

Love the Endura/Delica series and I can almost guarantee at some point you'll be picking up another or its younger brother! My first spyderco was the sage CF, thought I was going to be spoiled to spyderco but after picking up an Endura, that thing gets more pocket time than you can imagine... Well, ...
