Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive
I’m not a fan of the natural g10, but I’m a big fan of the M4 . I think this’ll replace my regular Shaman nicely.

Where you work. I can’t exactly carry and use my beloved SMF in an office. Traditionals also grow and develop so much character over time. They just look like they could tell a story.

Re: Wicked Edge WE 50 / Go Sharpening system
Every time someone asks me about my WE I tell them it’s the best knife related purchase I’ve ever made. I had a very old Pro Pack 2 that I upgraded throughout the years until they no longer supported that old model. I sold it and upgraded to a commercial unit. Zero regrets. I was just talking with s...

Re: Where is the REX 45 Millie?
Agree with all of the above...besides the Para 3. I’m one of the weird people with big hands that just can’t do the Para 3 thing. I may be one of the oddballs with large hands who actually prefers the Para 3 ergos over the PM2. I find the squared off edges of the PM2 are uncomfortable and the point...

Re: Casey Lynch Short Clip vs. MXG Gear Short Clip
Not trying to plug my channel at all, but I had some of the same issues as you all described. Casey sent me VERY detailed written instructions within 24 hours and I turned that into a video. I was surprised such a video didn’t exist. Even if it was from Casey.

I’m hopeful this means that the two my retaile keeps telling me they’re getting in will eventually be there. I was just about to call up and cancel. They’ve had $300 of my money since December :mad:farnorthdan wrote:Noticed today that my CC has been charged by KC for the Maxamet PM2 I ordered some months back,

Re: Maxamet PM 2
I thought I picked 2 up over Christmas from a retailer that said they had 2 in stock. I keep calling back and hoping they tell me my order is going to ship, but all I keep getting is that the distributor is still waiting to receive them I hope they do put some more out.

Re: Sal, now that I have a Shaman- I have to ask
Pants shredder? No thanks I’m not asking for Emersonesque G-10 (no knock to them. I own and love all my Emersons). It just frankly doesn’t make sense for a hard use knife to have slick scales. I’ve never understood it even on other knives like CC Striders. Unless, the knife is more of a carry piece...

Re: Sal, now that I have a Shaman- I have to ask
I am a fan of the contours, but can we get more texture? It seems as though the Shaman is a medium to heavyish duty knife. A knife like that gets wet from the environment or your sweaty hand. Slick grips don’t work well in that situation. Just my humble opinion as a Shaman owner hard use knife lover.

Re: Shaman problems
I was told the up and down blade play was within spec but they replaced the knife with a new one. The new one is perfect in every way. Couldn’t be happier! Thank you Spyderco! Hmmm...interesting. I haven’t owned the most Spydercos out of anyone here and I don’t know more than the people that make t...

Re: Shaman problems
I’ve had mine about a month. When I first got it, flicking was not an option. Way too stiff. Controlled deployment and two hand close only. But it had a very solid lockup. After carrying and using it only about half of the days out of the last month, the deployment is now super smooth, flicks easil...

Re: Shaman problems
I got my replacement today. It’s night and day from my first Shaman. The action is good and lockup is noticeably earlier. I did notice that I could hear a similar scraping sound after I flicked my new Shaman open a few times. I haven’t adjusted the pivot at all. There is no blade play in any directi...
