I have just spoken to the head of the Department of Conservation Whale Rescue in NZ, based in Kaikoura, about 200 klicks from me...South Island on the East coast...

He flies all over both islands to rescue whales and dolphins, and they are setting up a North Island ...

I'd definitely prefer it to have a clip, especially since it's going to be G10. If it were going to be the bolstered kind, i'd vote no clip. Wire clip would be nice for this model.

Thanks for these pics, the knife looks about 10 times better than in stock photos. Not really something I'm all that interested in, but good looking none the less.

I hope I'm not alone in saying the Military is not a wire clip type of knife. I'm really hoping the original pocket clip stays and one of the reasons, as stated above, is the present Military is glove friendly. I would be happy with just a tip down, L or R pocket carry and the ability to easily ...

Personally, I think they ruined the knife with the new pattern. I would be in love without them. That's just my $.02

I think a Delica is pretty much the quintessential Spyderco folder. Some would prefer it a tad longer but it's legal almost everywhere and slices like a demon.
