That said, I have also purchased several from the "goodplace2shop" on Ebay. Not to shill for them or anything, but it is a vendor I trust and for regular production models their prices are often very good. I too have bought a spyderco or two from them as well. No problem so far! That said, I still ...

I second the Stretch 2 as it has a longer blade than the Delica, but the handle is close to the same length.

I know that CF is very popular as it really looks pleasing to the eye, but what I hate about it is that it drives the price up considerably! I will be very happy with G10 in whatever color! I might even go for various colored frn as it works really well even though it may not be as fancy.

Care to share how long it took you as well as any hints for anyone that may want to attempt this themselves?

For me personally I like to use FRN, but for pure looks sake I think G10 looks better, especially if it is a different color than just black.

I've been hemming and hawing over the GB or going a different route and getting a ZT 0801. I've wanted the bradley for so long, I knew I had to get it first. I'm sure within a couple months I'll end up with the ZT also. It's the only model they make I like. Hey Paddy, just out of curiosity, which Z...

Sign me up for smoke gray too! As to FRN vs FRCP I really don't care. They both work good IMHO.

I have loved my black Stretch in VG10 since the day I got it! It is by far my favorite and most used knife that I own. It may not be a fancy knife, but it is very ergonomic. If you bought it to use, you will not be disappointed! Mine does have Sal's signature on it which made me very happy when it a...

Hard to chose, but I guess I would go with:
Stretch in VG-10
Native 1
Centofante 3

I have this problem from time to time, and all I do is let it set in a bowl of very hot soapy water till the water is cool. Then I just rinse it off and let it dry. (make sure it is completely dry) and then I just apply a light lube and I am back in business!

How do I like my Stretch? My Stretch is pretty much my favorite knife, competing heavily with my Native which I think was designed for my hand! I love how useful the handle shape is and that it has a very useful choil (though I know there are many that would like a deeper choil). I think the blade s...

Same for me. I love both knives and would be hard to pick one over the other.
