Research tuf-glide and I think you'll be happy. I just read reviews from gun owners who say after its dry, dirt and dust seem to just fall right off, it doesn't collect at all even inside the firearm :) And everyone knows how dirty guns get on the inside

Yup, Get the blue PM2 from bentobox :) Just got mine a little bit ago and I love it. The color of the steel is beautiful and its sharp as **** :D

Spyderco aims for 30 degrees, which you can continue to sharpen at. Using the 40 degree setting adds a micro-bevel that is a bit tougher than the 30 degree and, since you are sharpening just that very small bottom edge, makes sharpening faster and easier. oh yeah i had another question I forgot to ask you guys. If spyderco sharpens around 30 degrees, shouldn't I use the 30 instead of the 40 on my manix? I just used the 40 but it just sharpens the very bottom of the edge. It's ridiculously sharp but I just want to polish up the entire edge on the fine...

Who uses the slick side and who uses the "suade" side. I was always taught to use the rough suade side. But i see all these people using the smooth side? hmmm maybe ill make one of each to try and to see the differences :)

If you can tell the edge angle is uneven beforehand you can work one side more than the other to even it out on the brown stones first. That's "reprofiling". I use a different system for reprofiling, and only use the SM to put on the final edge, but everyone will find their own way :) No ...
