Realistic value of discontinued NIB Stretch VG10/FRN

Hi guys, long time no see :p ! I'm wondering what's a realistic value of a VG10/FRN Spyderco Stretch that's still new-in-box. A little while back, I was seeing prices on ebay up around $120, but now i'm not seeing any of this model on ebay at all, but I ran across a couple used ones from Amazon affi...

I haven't been on the forum in a couple months, but I just took a look and saw this thread, so I had to log in and say Hey. I was fully embroiled in a couple of those controversial threads a while back over the Native 5. After owning a handful of Spydies,if only for a few months, my view is still th...

I hope I don't get stricken down for blasphemy here :D , but......for the outrageous money the OP is having to fork over for a tiny little pocket knife,( $160 Delica means maybe a $150 Dfly) I think he might be better served by not getting a Spyderco right now, and instead buying a nice locally made...

I'm not arguing, I understand that Spyderco INTENDS that the warranty be void for any dis-assembly, but I also agree with the OP's point. According to what the warranty statement actually says : "Spyderco’s warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, loss, improper handling, alterat...

The N5 is arguably my favorite Spydie, though the Sage1 is right there with it, as is the FRN Native ( I guess I just dig that size and style). That being said, I seem to carry the Sage and FRN native the most due to their lighter weight. But the N5 is, in my mind, the most robust of the three, and...

I got turned on the the TPB's several years ago while crewing on a boat way down in Honduras. I brought home a copy of several episodes and put it into circulation among several freinds and started a TPB's craze up here in Georgia, LOL !! I like how they use musicians as extras, like Rush guitarist ...

Your knife. How much do you care about not loosing any screws on the clip. Well, until I owned Spyderco's, I never used clips, and often considered just removing them on knives I carried regularly. But some of my previous views have changed recently, and now I really dig the clips, and use them con...

Well, I just grabbed several knives and went to the kitchen table and dove right in. First thing I noticed was that the screws in the PM2 already had blue loc-tite on them, so I goobered 'em up again, and re-installed them. Then I did the Stretch, which DIDN'T have any loc-tite, so i did that one up...

Cool, thanks guys. I first searched "loc-tite" and didn't get anything useful. I was thinking that maybe it would be problematic trying to later remove the tiny little screws if they were cemented in place.
I think I'll go mess with that right now ;) .

Anyone use Loc-tite on their clip screws ?

Earlier today, I removed the clip from my PM2 to bend it a little tighter, and noticed how litte there is of those little screws. I'm thinking about "going back in" and putting a few molecules of Loc-tite on them, but then thought, for once, that I might should first ask around before doin...

I agree with the Manix2 suggestions, and not just because it's such a beefy,rock-solid knife, but also because it's only about $70 or so. Economy has got to be factored in, since the OP is essentially asking about a "beater" knife. A GB is roughly twice the price of the Manix2, and I don't...
