I found that I like to carry the Stretch and D'fly on the farm, hiking, fishing, shooting, and the Delica + Ladybug around town, church, eating out, so I'd get the D'fly. I find that I hit the confirm and submit button all too often!

I have the SE and PE stretch. The SE is a really fine cutter. I also have a saver salt SE and can't say the shape makes one a better cutter just that the sheepsfoot blade is safer to use around livestock. Good luck!

It really depends on the factory grind and type steel. With the diamond stones I usually start on one side until a burr (wire edge) forms on the opposite side and then do the other side until the burr is moved to the first side. It is small but I like it! The problem is I like too many Spyderco knifes and have no use for them.

A Victorinox Forschner 10" blade. It's been raining all day so I took this old knife with an edge about as sharp as the spine and went to work. I put a really steep angle on it and it slips right through news paper tonight. Next to a Ladybug.
