First Mule Scales
Hi Folks,
This is my first set of scales on the cruwear mule. I cut the tree and dried the wood for several years to make a walking staff but decided to make the scales. I stabilized the wood in a wood hardener for 2 weeks and dried for several weeks. I used green G10 liners and buff finished with ...

Scales for Mule?
I cut these slabs from a Japanese Cherry tree that has been drying for 4 years and is very hard. I’m going to try to make the handles for a mule using this wood with a foliage green spacer and ¼” brass corby rivets. I started conditioning the slabs in wood hardener today. The wood has olive and red ...

My First Sprint Arrived!!
These rainy winter days cause me to spend too much time on the computer, puts me in an altered state, and then the postman puts a red and black box in the mailbox!
Rained all day so at 11:00AM EST I hit the submit button for my first Mule, walked out to the shop to clean and sharpen some ...

With the diamond stones I usually start on one side until a burr (wire edge) forms on the opposite side and then do the other side until the burr is moved to the first side. As I work through the stones I count strokes on each side starting at 6 ...

# of Cally 3.5 super blue in sprint run
Just curious about the number of knifes in this run. I'm fairly new to Spyderco and see some sprint runs sold out (orange para 2 at CS) before production. I still see dealers with the Cally 3.5 Super Blue for sale. Thanks!
