I'd like to go back to a time when folk had common sense at least, knew that taking experimental injections was not a good idea for example.
I along with some others did try so hard to warn friends, family and work colleagues, sadly many didn't listen and are now either dead or been left with ...

Re:
I prefer not to have fingers in the path of a closing blade, thats my problem with liner locks.
That's my way of thinking too plus liner locks just seem weedy and awkward to get at on some knives,....I'd rather it be a frame lock in that case, less fumbling and whilst in the hand, gripping the ...

The UKPK is certainly a good design and would be my second choice if the PITS hadn't have been invented.

Re: The end of the auto & gravity ban in Colorado
I dream of our UK knife laws being changed one day,....all I wish for, to be able to carry a sub 3" folding LOCKING knife without the fear of prosecution due to not having the 'correct' good reason at the time of being stopped.
Not much to ask for is it? Fat chance of it happening though, laws in ...

Re: If you could keep only one Spyderco, which one would it be?
This is a cruel question!
Of my own collection, my PITS, I think, as it's not too small, not too big, legal carry here, and interesting.
However, I would first have plenty of fun sifting through all the Spydies you all will have been made to discard, so may change my mind.
It would be the PITS ...

Re: any other Pattada fans ?
I'd like to see a non locking version with a sub 3" blade, that would make it EDC legal carry in the UK. :)

Re: Spyderco send Australian Politions A Letter
I think Spyderco should write Australian Politions a letter saying it should be legal to send there knives to this country and top of that it should be legal to own and carry a knife for self Defence at least for say an age group of over 30.

Re: Jimping Poll...
I didn't know which one to tick in the poll,.....I'd say that it's a combination, for example all the jimping that's on my Manix is spot on to me, different 'grades' in different areas.

I've had M2, M4, and D2 and I love them all. Tool steel kicks butt, not only because it's tool steel but because it seems to last forever and take a crazy insane edge. I gained an amazing respect for how hard certain steels are by trying to drill them. I own high speed bits that will cut stainless ...

I still think the FP scanner built in is cool and pretty advanced. Biometrics devices are only now really getting wider adoption outside of higher end and government-funded security. I'll try and look at the model and if there is a relatively easy way to do it I'll try to help. Open source software ...

ACPI and APM support, particularly for notebooks, can be spotty on Linux/FreeBSD. There are often specific fixes for various machines, and some of those could work for you, or maybe just some settings tweaks will help. I run into this issue often on my laptops, and if your machine isn't ...
