Re: Generational Classifications: Do You Identify?

Born in 1965, to technically Gen X. Got to be a kid in the seventies and eighties and it was awesome! Stayed outside from sun up to sun down, learned to build and fix things, then break them and fix them again! I was turned loose with both a chainsaw and a Marlin .22 lever rifle at the age of 12, an...

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native

I own four Dragonfly's, couldn't tell you the last time I carried one? Years! I also have a Compression Lock Lil' Native, never carry it either. But both fantastic little knives. My go to small knife now is a K390 Lil' Temperance, carrying it right now. But...a Back Lock G-10 Lil' Native with serrat...

Re: My First Bento Box Shop Experience

Back in 2017, it was $190 ($221 out the door). To this day, it is my favorite PM2 and Spyderco. For a while I thought about getting a backup, but haven't yet. Seems like price is creeping up the longer I wait. If I had to replace it, I would pay what it goes for. Few of us here have been asking for...

Re: CRUWEAR Is now my Favorite SE blade steel

I really like my SE Ayoob, but I LOVE my Cru-wear Manix 2 sprint run, a serrated Cru-Wear Manix would be an instant buy for me, maybe two of them!

IMG_3569.jpegIMG_3567.jpegIMG_3566.jpeg This is the first non HK pistol I’ve bought in the last 7 or 8 years….well except the Glock 19 I just bought for my daughter. Nice benben! I think you'll really like that CZ! I’ve wanted a heavy, steel, hammer fired pistol for a while now, this is my first op...

LeafJumper! Either edge you prefer, and in either K390 or VG-10, fantastic design!

I have a serrated K390 that impresses me more everyday.

Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?

If I ever run across a back lock Manix out in the wild I’ll buy it right then! I bought another Manix this past Saturday at my LGS, a plain Jane G-10 S30V, no box. Don’t think it’s ever been carried or used, action is slick as glass and it’s super sharp! Offered the guy a hundred dollar bill out the...

Re: Idea for new knife! Lightweight Yojimbo2

A Gray lightweight with Cru-wear, I'm in! Although I don't think my plain Jane G-10 S30V Yojimbo 2 is heavy at all, in fact it's super easy to carry! I like lightweights but no matter what a LW will never be as slick as a G-10 version, my G-10 Yojimbo might be my slickest Spyderco I own, the action ...

I've had several that way, not an issue and it's never bothered me. Over time with sharpening and use it'll work itself out. Use it, cut stuff!

Re: Cricket Lightweight

This thread made me dig this old girl out! I’ve never abused a knife like I have this one! A month or so back I was at a large gun shop in Charlotte, they had a new RIL Cricket in the case, I asked the salesman if I could see it….my old liner lock Cricket here would cut that new one in half, as far ...

(I said I'd like any model, with a preference for older ones, but If i had any choice, it'd be a Native 5 with the og blade pattern, deeper hollow)
I like this….in Cru-wear!
