Hi! I have a question: Is aluminium significantly harder to form for small handles or is there another reason (eg grip) that FRN tends to be used on small handles.

It would seem that the potential weight saving is greater for bigger knives; and I figure you'd have to do something pretty ...

Ratman, I know what you mean, about left hand seeming kinda wrong for the single bevel to be on. I guess there must be a reason (these spyder people seem to know what they're doing) but I would find sharpening easier (ie away from body) and doing delicate cuts easier to get accurate if the bevel was ...

I just got a weeny Ladybug and was looking through some of the old posts. Someone suggested a cap puller. I think the easiest way to do this is on a small knife is to move the hole up and forward so that it's a hook rather than a hole (& tell people to only use when knife is shut!!). On the ...
