Getting a grip pattern or your hand by making the material soft would be cool. Don't know if it would work but a material where this is possible would be great. Talk about a custom fit grip. :) Well I wouldn't recommend putting heat to it. I took our tiny hand held torch, (which I would consider it...

Had I known that my post was going to generate this type of discussion, I would of started a new thread. Anyway when I attempted to make my scales I drilled all my holes with a drill press with the original scales on top. All of the holes that I drilled were slightly smaller than I needed. As soon a...

http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/7217/stbi.jpg Jack, your last post got me thinking and if I was smart I would of looked at both sides of the handle a little closer. With this shot you can see exactly where it cracked, right on the seam of the coloring. All the other holes I drilled were on solid c...

I pretty much traced out the Pingo with slight alterations, all of which were done on the bottom side. So with the Pingo it's just a blade, spring and screws. The original FRN handles have built in washers, I was using an extra pair of brass ones, which are actually thinner than the ones in the hand...

http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/2936/438e.jpg Slight setback a couple of hours ago. I tightened everything down and getting ready to put it through a few test I heard an unsettling noise as I was opening it. I guess the spring was to strong and it cracked. I checked all of my measurements and th...

I've converted 2 and hopefully a 3rd is on his way. They were impressed how sharp i could get a knife and never knew that a SpyderEdge could be done. I took a bur out of one of the serrations and they were completely impressed. After doing a couple of filet knives it turned into folders. The discuss...

The Graceland Burger:
Chunky peanut butter, mayo, bacon & onions

It's currently the ONLY item on the menu that I haven't had from KC's Rib Shack

If I want chunky peanut butter I'll have a Snickers Peanut Butter Square, other than that it's creamy all the way.

I got 2 of them for the kids as stocking stuffers for Xmas. They are sitting in the draw where I put them back in December. I got them for the same reason that David did, but my son uses his Pingo or my Delica and my daughter doesn't seem to care about knives anymore. I've heard the same complaints ...

The only Spydie that I have purchased and not liked is my Centofante 4. It jut doesn't feel right in my hand and I couldn't get used to it. I've never used it per say, just handled it. For some reason it never felt comfortable so it went back into the box where it sits to this day. There are a coupl...

It's real close to striper season up here. I'll hit the beach or canal. Other than that it's lake and pond fishing pretty much year around. In a couple weeks it's guys retreat up to Maine for a week of solid fishing and being out of touch with reality.

Salt 1 serrated hands down, great knife and I take mine out to sea or on the lakes all the time. If you were thinking about a Delica, I would suggest a Native FRN which is either half or full serrated. I prefer my Native to my Delica if I'm in the woods, but that's just me.

This thread is making me hungry... As bh49 said earlier he/she/they might disappear after the Forum Knife is released. I'm curious to find out how many new members the knife spawned. The trolling definitely increased after the announcement. It didn't have the normal forum feeling where I could just ...

I can't remember what my 1st gifted knife was. I do know that I have given away about 6 knives within the past year. The latest was a combo Delica to my best friend for his birthday. Previously to that was a Enuff Clip Point to my father, which I really wanted to keep for myself!
