Yeah, I was actually holding off to order from CS, but then changed my mind when I saw the price. Oh well, clearly there is demand at that price because they're gone now!

I am willing to open two more spots if one or two other people really want to get a chance.
Please include me, I have been really curious about this knife since I first saw the pictures of it from Mr Blonde.

Oh boy, this strikes a chord with me, posted about it last year. Still brings a tear to my eye remembering my long-lost blue para 2:

I've been buying, selling, collecting spydies for a few years now. Super Blue Delica is my current favorite because it's so sharp, so easy to sharpen, and just the right size. Throw a deep carry clip on there, and you've got some magic!

PM2, not a big fan of the huge belly on the Manix 2 blade, and love the compression lock.

12 in stock at Howe's now.

I just received mine today, and I'm very happy. I liked the original version but really wanted one with a better steel, and this will be an interesting experiment in playing with S110V!

Is this the S110V lightweight Manix 2?

http://www.howesknifeshop.com/spyderco/ ... ming-4/16/

I remember the discussion about the S110v lightweight Manix 2 being dark blue and FRN instead of FRCP, so this might be it!

If it was too small, it will still be too small. Buy something bigger instead. That's what I did when I sold my Techno! Maybe a Caly 3/3.5 or a Sage 2 if you're into Ti?

Where was this discussed? I bought one of the first LW Manix's and sold it shortly after I didn't care for the steel and I said I would definitely come back for a better steel. I just never imagined this!?

I got one from GPK, it's inbound. They are out now. We know NGK is out. Thespydercostore seems to have sold theirs. KW hasn't decided whether they are going to sell. Howe's hasn't decided what to do with his 2. For a while it looked like he was going to do a lottery (was briefly posted that customer...

Howe's briefly posted (and subsequently took down) a note that they are planning on getting 2 knives, and they are going to run a lottery with the first one. Only people with 5 orders in their website would be eligible to put their name into the lottery. Depending on how things go with the first kni...

Everything in their catalog that had a price of "$0" now says SOLD too. It's not specific to this one.

Does anyone else get the sneaking suspicion that this knife is actually meant to be flipper-bait? It's setup with a price and an air of exclusivity that no sane person would pay except a flipper. Any chance there is actually a big run coming after this "exclusive" one that is meant to tank...

I actually took the update on Howe's site to imply that he will likely not be selling any of them, because he suggests "YOU MIGHT CONTACT YOUR FAVORITE DEALER OR ANY DEALER YOU THINK MIGHT GIVE YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO PICK ONE UP. ", not that he is one of those dealers.

Should be more CF. This variant is in production for much longer than VG10/G10 was.
Is this a hint that we need the sprint of VG10/G10 Caly3? Let's say in dark green color :)
<drool> I need a Caly3, and I need it in green. That is all.
