Competitive cuttings sounds interesting. I can see the getting your heart rate up?? Used to ski when I was younger. Never been to Canada; only to Utah! Then made the move into snowboarding. It was hard for me to resist jumps and rails so I figured I should stop before I seriously injured myself. Now...

I work as a production photography artist and it's mac all the way. PC's have their uses, e.g., counterstrike or the web. The only downside is that mac's are pretty costly. If I didn't have a thing for Spyderco's, I'd probably already own a real nice mac of my own. Mac > PC, however Spyderco > Mac :D

I'm sorry to hear about the mishap with your custom handles. That's a major bummer. I'm hoping to do some custom handles on an old lightweight walker. I know it won't be easy but I'm excited to give it a whirl. Hope your elbow recovers!

I'd go with a variation of the Michael Walker.. probably the Klotzli or Almite. I could die a happy man.

Sounds to me like the clip just wasn't up to par. I agree with flipe8; send it back to the seller/merchant if it's an issue. I wouldn't be satisfied with a new purchase that wasn't 100%. I typically inspect my Spyderco's with a fine-tooth comb. I try to ask merchants to check the quality of the item...

I'm posting in this JUST because I totally misread the topic. I read it as "Do you have a baby stretch?".. I thought I was going crazy for a sec. When was a baby stretch released? I used to have a stretch.. brand new, and I sold it. Now, I don't see them anywhere(The older kraton inlay ver...

Money orders typically aren't an issue. It's usually easiest to go down to the post office, get a postal money order for the given amount, and send it off right then and there. Piece of cake!! Paypal does suck, but if you're selling, you have to consider the fact that a lot of people rely on paypal ...

I have been riding for a little over 7 years; consistantly!! Not weekend warrior(no dig intended), not only in the summer.. but as my main source of transportation. I started with a Honda CBR 1000cc. I took the motorcycle safety course. Passed my written test, and the rest is history. Don't let anyo...

I feel it would be chaotic. As Sal said, it would take a lot of work to moderate something like that. I like being able to come to this forum to just read up on things, learn a thing or two and get to know some guys(I haven't participated in chat yet; perhaps I need to do that). There are other aven...

All I can say is YUCK!!

I know it's not much of a contribution, but who would buy that? I feel that for the asking price there are tons of better options. I'd take a used and abused spydie over that junk. ;)

Thiiiiiisssssssss is where I wanted to post!! Thanks Jabba. I would probably say late 90's, early 2000. I'm what you could call a "novice" when it comes to knives and materials, but from the models I've seen; for all around pieces of "art", I feel it's within that time frame. Tha...

Zippered Pouches w/Spyderco Logo

I did some searching through the forum, found a lot of old posts and dead-end links. I have a few older Spyderco's without boxes and am interested in finding some zippered pouches. They don't necessarily have to be "Spyderco". Just want something nice.. preferably the smaller 5&...
