Not just a women's jeans thing, i have the same issue with carrying tip down. Every time you reach into your pocket that jimping is there to scrape the crap out of the side of your hand. ... Good to know that this issue seems to be a common problem for others too and not only me being clumsy ;) I j...

Definitely the Tern because it doesn't lock which means it's legal here :-)

If possible I like to clip my knives tip down but with the spine of the blade resting against the outside seam of my right front pocket. I think this would actually make it left-hand carry, wouldn't it? The reason for doing this was that I caught my hand at the thumb ramp jimping one time too often ...

Not available to the public. That's like dangling bacon in front of my face, letting me smell it, but not letting me taste it. That's just not fair :( I hear you. Now my husband comes to me and asks about the Autonomy and when it will be available. He's not a huge Spyderco fan and I was thrilled to...

Postal services across the Atlantic must have been blessed with an extra portion of speed this past week. My two little pink Squeaks made it here in record time. Posted a picture on Tumblr for everyone to enjoy :-) http://soozas-edc-and-stuff.tumblr.com/post/26354473744/the-pink-squeak-is-here-this-...

I hope people here got one or two because I just looked at Howe's and they are out of stock. Maybe they only had two to begin with. :D Maybe they (and others) will have more soon. Jack Ha, and those two will be mine soon :D Received a note that they shipped yesterday. Could be Howes didn't think pi...

Pink Squeak is here

Just found out that the pink Squeak is out and available! Took me a bit to find a shop that would ship to Germany with decent conditions and not too much hassle and now I'm happy to announce that I ordered two at Howes :D I so LOVE my black Squeak. Perfect for my EDC needs. Only if it weren't so bor...

The PM 2 hasn't really been on my radar until a month or so ago. Always thought it would be too large and too tactical/mean looking. Changed my mind after I saw the new orange, blue and brown sprints/exclusives. After checking the stats I found that it was even a tad smaller than my Endura and this ...

I think you can get the black one and the stainless steel one in both fully serrated and partially serrated. The blade is saber-ground and not FFG like the colored models. I've seen that BLADEHQ has them in stock. Good price, too.

I usually go to the *bay for my Spydies. The reputable big dealers that actually ship the Europe usually charge Express shipping which comes up to 25 USD and more nowadays. Figuring in the import tax I might as well buy them here in Germany. The last one I got from a well rated dealer on the *bay wa...

Hey guys, Was browsing the bay last night and came across a Centofante 4 that I figured I'd put a bid on and ended up winning it. Looks like I paid about the average going price, but seems like there are far more Cento 3s on the market than the wharncliffe'd 4s, is this correct? If so, why? Hadn't ...

I put in my vote for non-locking because it's so uncomplicated in use. No fingers between blade and handle, no fiddling with any lock of any kind. My second favorite is probably the BBL on my Manix 2 Lightweight. Now that's actually a lock even I can close single handedly without causing any damage ...

Nope. I seem to remember having seen some blade swaps though because people insist on having a black knife. Can't imagine why the can't just enjoy pink or purple Delicas ;) :p

Mhm, from a NKP perspective I wouldn't see much difference between those two. Although if this is the bright blue Sage 3 we're talking about I can't really see how it can look scary. Looks fun to me :) Might be the size that does some people in. If you're after putting people at ease I would suggest...

Ask my husband and he'll tell you all Spydies are ugly beyond belief ;) Me, I got the feeling it's maybe a natural progression of things or something. At first I thought a Delica was a large knife. Now I'm thinking my Manix 2 lightweight isn't all that large and I'm waiting for a brown Para2 to arri...

Man, this forum is SO bad for my bank account. I swear ;) Until recently I've thought the same as you. Para2 = some kinda of big, heavy folder. Not for me. No. Now I've seen the brown one coming up with several of my regular ebay sellers and I actually checked the specs. And man, this isn't as big a...

At first I really thought the Persian looked odd and kinda unattractive. But the more I look at it the more it gets bumped up on my To-have-list. At least the Mini Persian, that is :) But I'm with dwong in that I don't think the black G-10 is the best fit for the style of this knife. Something less ...

Suzie, I see you have a Squeak. Love the looks and have been very tempted with that as well as the Urban Safety Orange. But I have the Cat -- similar in size to the Squeak but smart enough to come with a lock. Ah, you know, apart from the fact that local law prohibits locking folders in combination...
