what brand holster is that?! is that carbon fiber?!!!! sexy!

I carry a g26 in a crossbreed supertuck in horsehide. Design is very similar to your holster.......

Its an "old faithful" brand holster. I bought it as a kit to put together with carbon fiber print kydex. It was cheaper than most too.

I realize its legal and that most people should not care but I have experience with the kinds of people who do care. For instance, I work gunshows on the weekends and there are several shows that we do that are in old stores that are still connected to malls. Well at one of these shows they where ...

Knife etiquette?

So I just got home from a good steak dinner at outback steakhouse and I was completely and utterly frustrated by the POS steak knives they expect you to tear apart your food with. The knife squashed the $hit out of my bread and I was literally "tearing" my steak up with it. All I could think about ...

I have not converted anyone yet, but I myself am a recent convert of about two months now.

I work at gun shows every weekend and have carried a knife ever since I can remember but had never really put much thought into my knives other than "that looks cool." one day I was strolling around the gun ...

Bar keepers friend and blue scotch pads gets them clean. Then I use dawn dish soap and a stiff bristle toothbrush for the diamond rods and make sure they get dry and maybe even a little oil because they will rust.

Too light of prussure? (diamond rods)

So I "had" to get some diamond rods because re-profiling the bevels on some of my knifes was taking forever on the brown stones. The problem is now that I am so paranoid about using them, that I think I may be using too light of pressure on them. I hear mixed feelings about how durable they are and ...

Perfect timing with this thread, thanks man!

I've been wanting to purchase a Sharpmaker but I'm a bit hesitant to start my sharpening journey with one of my beloved Spydies.

I was thinking about ordering a Tenacious or Persistance along with the Sharpmaker and using that as my "learner" knife ...

Sharpmaker = Awesome

So I picked up my first Sharpmaker along with some ultrafine rods and all I can say is WOW! I have used some sharpening systems in the past and this blows them all away. After some strokes on the ultra fine rods you get a mirror finish that is scary sharp. I honestly had no idea what "sharp" meant ...

Which knife?

So I'm going to pick up my spyderco sharpmaker along with the ultrafine rods and I'm thinking of picking up another knife, and I need help deciding. So I've narrowed down to:

Zero Tolerance 0150 boot knife
Bradley Kimura 5-7 Clip point blade
Esee Izula (maybe the scales too)
Esee 3
Esee 4
Spyderco ...

Earth?

Is the Golden Colorado Earth stamp a sense of humor on the part of spyderco or are they really being that specific? I have been taking it as a sense of humor but am somewhat confused.

I tried to find something about this with the search feature to no avail.

Ok so I literally just did this to my para2 and I first took the burs of the clip screw holes on the inside of the liners and reassembled with no effect. I then took it apart again and took off the burr on the blade pivot hole. I reassembled it and to my surprise it was silky smooth. So if you plan ...
