Spyderco GAS...again

Ok. I'm debating on getting an Endura4 FFG. I have a couple Delica 4's and I love them, perfect EDC. I have a PM2, and it's great but a little heavy and large at times for EDC. For EDC I like blades 3" or a little less.

However, I'm wondering if the Endura would fit the bill for as an outdoor ...

Re: I can't decide on my next Spyderco

Thanks for all that had input. I opted for the Sage 1. It finally came today. WOW, what a great looking/feeling knife. My EDC has been a Delica 4 for a few awhile now. Nice to see it's not much bigger, but a little beefier. I'd be curious to see a FRN version of the Sage. But I'm good for now.

Thanks. It certainly has its strong points

I can't decide on my next Spyderco

I'm looking for new Spydie and I can't decide. I don't want to buy something redundant, if there is such a thing. What I currently own of Spyderco is.

Para 2
Delica 4 x2
Tenacious
Dragonfly

I'm looking for an EDC, but aren't they all. I love the Para 2 but it's a bit large to carry at work ...

I adapted a long time ago simply due to the fact that the clips were molded and not reversible. Even now with all the clip options, I stay with it in a right-handed position in my right pocket. However that is only limited to my EDC/folding knives, if I carry a fixed blade I carry lefty.

As good as possible with my phone. It was the same nickle color as the clip. Not as shiny, but the same color.

In my experience rust is a bad thing (duh). If this is that, I want to do something about it as rust does affect the performance and function of the knife. If not, I could care less. I've owned many knives for a very long time and this is a first.

I don't think his question was if it would affect cutting ability ;)

I had that same coloration on the tang of a para 2 I sold. Just a small little redish/copper color blotch. Never figured out what it was.

Is it a big splotch or just a small mm sized dot?

It's not a splotch, is a thin line ...

Copper coloration on liners of my para 2

I noticed last night a funny copper discoloration on inside the locking liner of my pm2. I don't think its rust, as I keep it clean and well lubricated. And I live in no humidity state. Thoughts?

It's not a deal breaker, but if it's something Spyderco doesn't know about I'm more than happy do to my part and let them know. I seriously doubt its a problem. Just odd.

Para 2 G-10/Scale odditiy

While obsessing over my Para 2 today it really sunk home how much more counter sunk the screws on one side are than the other. Is any one else experienced this? I know it's probably purely cosmetic, but I'm curious if the scales are machined or hand drilled. Are they done in house or farmed out? I ...
