I have the Kobalt tool you're talking about and love it. I will say that I like the Husky version I got at Home Depot better. It's the same basic thing but seems to be more solid to me.

Superleaf all the way for me. My buddy has a PPT and it is a nice knife but its chunky for its small-ish (smaller than I imagined) size. I'm not a huge fan of how it feels in hand but YMMV. I will say that although he loved it at first he hasn't carried it since about the first week he got it.

I love the feeling of brand new medium-traction G-10. Not sure why, I just love it. I also have to agree with Ted. Canvas Micarta is just soooo nice to hold. :D

Not too worried about the warranty. :p 1. Because I know how to take it apart and put it back together without messing it up or showing signs it ever happened... They aren't a mystical item, just screws and parts put together by hand originally. 2. Because :spyder: rules the world... and ...

Para2 smoothness achieved... FINALLY!

For my birthday in December one of my good friends bought me a paramilitary 2. I have a few knives but this one is definitely the one that gets carried and used the most. I freaking love it! However, out of the box it was never as smooth as I thought it would be. I have read how amazingly smooth the...

Looks amazing! :) Very nice move away from the "normal" g10 patterns you see out there. And that multicam looks incredible that way!

I've seen both stores that sell at MSRP and those that sell below. But usually even if they are below they still aren't reasonably priced like the sales people try to say they are. I totally understand the more expensive overhead, I work in a store that constantly gets eaten alive by internet prices...

Amazing video. It really is a reminder of how blessed I really am and a reminder of the good in people. It's sometimes hard to remember that these days.

Silence of the Lambs / Hannibal .. two of my favorite movies! Very cool and original. I believe Dr. Lecter actually used a Spyderco in Hannibal when he slit the french cops intestines open.. think it was one of the hawkbill models. Pretty sure it's the Harpy :) Makes me almost want to buy a hawkbil...

There are a lot of custom scale makers who market their stuff through YouTube and show off their projects. I will say though... the guys that do that have been in the game a little while now and have gotten INSANELY good. Might want to check that out as a viable option though. Also they seem to be r...

Was at a gun show this past weekend... a guy there had an impressive little display of Spydercos for reasonable prices... I got to play with this knife a bit but I kind of blew it off for some unknown reason. I had been looking forward to seeing this knife in person and wanting to own it so I have n...

That blade looks a little small... I think you need a Pacific Salt now... Hahaha this is so true  it's actually on my list now. This knife is truly impressive. I was shocked. http://i904.photobucket.com/albums/ac244/Atch88/dinnersmall.jpg It did so good that I let it have some cardboard for dessert :D It absolutely DESTROYED the box my new head u...
