Deleted the Tuff thread, have a good one yall.
It was quite clear that thread took a direction I never intended, and began being potentially harmful to spyderco something I never wanted. SO, I deleted it. Sorry to those who were planning on following it for resolution, Im really not happy with how things happened either. I made the thread to hel...

Please don't leave? Well personally I hate it when people leave like this, because certain members have been disrespectful to them. Most members here are very kind in fact (and put up with all of my noob questions.) But if you really do feel that way... I guess you'll do what you think is best, but...

Wow , I am sorry to hear you were so offended by forum members. I had personally bet you sent the knife back already as you said I'm afraid its off to the spa, but you wanted to share your experience here first. I didn't realize you didn't follow your own thoughts on others dealing with negativity....

Threads like this are discouraging. Not only do I lose sleep over them, but they also cost us thousands in lost sales. Hi Cliff, The original poster hasn't posted again (unless I missed something) and he hasn't sent the knife in. Mark was not the OP. Regarding the OP, I've met DC and I got the impr...

DC is one of us and should be given the respect we would want extended to ourselves. On the same note I believe that since this is a new design and there aren't really many complaints along the lines of what DC is referring to Sal and Ed and Spyderco should be given the opportunity to look at the k...

In regards to the claims of abuse, wrong tool, etc. there is absolutely no excuse at all for this type of accidental release, nor it is any way sensible to call small wrist snaps with this knife into branches abusive, it is completely ridiculous. This is a knife with a 3V blade which has ONE critic...

I presume you were using an unusual grip that was not keeping pressure against the lock bar? Not saying that this should have happened anyway but the fact that a normal grip is a fail safe in keeping it locked is one of the things I like about frame locks. I wouldnt say it was that unusual. I wasnt...

I think a few of you might be missing the point. I kind of have to laugh at those who say I was abusing the knife, because if you saw the size of the sticks I was cutting, youd laugh too. Evil D- The sticks you cut with that military are bigger. I think yall got the wrong Idea when I said chop, and ...

Whoa, another case of spewing negativity in public, before giving anyone with authority the chance to inspect the knife, and determine whether it was defective or not. spewing negativity in public? Listen buddy, i have done no such thing. I merely said the un-sensationalized events of what happened...

Tuff not so Tuff...
So for the last month or so, the Tuff has been my go to yard working knife. I felt that since this knife was touted as a folding fixed blade tank, it could quite easily take care of the mundane garden tasks I had outside. One of these tasks I use a folding knife for occasionally is delimbing these s...

I think its less that people are personally offended. than it is that the possibility to offend is there because it is broaching on a political subject. Which, for whatever reasons good or bad, is strongly encouraged not to be talked about. I personally do not care, but I can see why others might th...
