I have issues sharpening my dlc para2 as well. I find it much easier to sharpen my zdp-189 dragonfly 2. I think its just blade length. The shorter blade is easier to control so its easier to stay consistent.

I'm also an advocate for trying out the Tenacious. I sadly had to part with mine to cover some bills :(

In my opinion it's an amazing low budget folder that will stand up to just about anything you can throw at it. I would say it's one of the best budget folding knives. you could buy 3 of those ...

The paramilitary 2 is an awsome knife. Not too big, great ergonomics, and fairly tough. The manix 2 i would be a great choice as well.

Zdp dragonfly gets my vote. Its small in the pocket, fits great in my hand and stays sharp forever.

What more could you ask from a small edc?

My zdp dragonfly 2 is easily my sharpest knife. The edge retention is unbeliveable. I often reach for it because I know it will hold up.

Id go with a smaller knife. I've been very impressed with my zdp-189 dragonfly 2. Sometimes I prefer to use it rather than my para2.

I don't have any more pics. I've tried bending it back straight but that never works out well. The blade only bent about 1/2 that much initially but after it bent i knew it was over and kept pushing.

Either way its all good, my still loves me. She just laughed and grabed me a beer.

I wasn't batoning, I did that with my hand. I cutting some strips of mesquite to help start the fire in my grill. The branch I was using was about 3" diameter.

I have been wanting to purchase a real outdoor, camping, hunting, fishing knife. I was leaning towards the temperance 2 but now thinking ...

That's my solution also. I usually carry the Para 2 20CP in my RF pocket and the Caly 3.5 Super Blue in my LF pocket. Problem solved.

I mainly use the Caly Super Blue for cutting food in restaurants (it's superb for that task) and the Para 2 for everything else.

The other day I showed my Para 2 ...
