Are the prices posted the correct? Just visited their site and it seems they raised prices.

Most knife manufacturers sharpen on power tools. It takes some skill, but saying "never ever" is a bit extreme, especially for the many of us who have dedicated 1x30 or 1x40 belt sanding rigs that we use exclusively for sharpening.

If Spyderco really didn't care, for starters, they wouldn't do a deeply discounted, extremely limited high performance knife like this. Where else are you going to get a properly heat treated ...

I was on the backup list for 14 months. I got an email 2 days ago and I was real happy, then I started wondering how it was going to be handled and realized it was going to be a free-for-all. In reality they released the available knives to the whole world, there was nothing in the process that ...

The only problem I have is how KW handled the backup list. They should have walked through the list first instead of releasing it free for all. What was the point of the backup list if you were just going to sell the remainder to the public in a first come first serve basis. Sheeeeesh!!! :mad:

Interesting you said it was quite short. When I called last week asking them to verify my name on the list from last year sometime, they told me it was over 200 people long.

When I said quite short, I was pertaining to the wait. I knew that they were going to release all they had left on June 13 ...

I guess the next question at hand is how KW will handle the backup list, assuming there are people who didn't claim their green para2's or turn them over to somebody else. I presume all 800 orders will have to be actually mailed or deposit payers contacted before they can deal with the list. Sounds ...

Just as the super-popular Manix 2 made way for the Manix 2 XL, I don't see why the same thing couldn't happen with the Para 2 getting its own XL version down the line. Personally, I think that the Military fills the role of a larger knife with similar blade and handle design, but obviously lacks ...

I don't like the length of the clip on your blue para, but at $7 a pop it might be fun to get a couple and play around with grinding and re-bending them. Hmm... :rolleyes:

Did the hole spacing work with your PM2 out of the box, or did you have to make any adjustments to the clip to attach it ...

I like my str clips on my Para 2 but mine is top down carry.
I believe when it is tip up carry the bottom lip of the clip digs into the hand while holding the handle. I'm having that problem now with my Southard. I am looking for an alternative right now. Seems like there is no custom clip makers ...
