Best PM2 and blade steel I've ever owned. All mechanical instruments require break-in.

No, i've never sold a knife. Like I said I support capitalism as opposed to whining about a preconceived notion of fair.

To the best of my knowledge pre-sales don't happen in back room stores. The information is released all at the same time from the dealers. No ones has guaranteed you knife or a concert ticket.

Our 3 X 8 ultra fine is what I would call a "perfect" stone. I'm not in the business of buying or selling knives. All of my knives are users and if I do find myself selling one it's only to fund something I feel I'll like more.

I think his point was that they sold out so quickly that if you didn't jump in during the first few days your only source is the resale market, averaging $200/copy, whereas you can still get the M390 blue LE for $180 (as long as you're not in CA and have to pay sales tax).
