I'm aware of nutnfancy's videos, and enjoy them, mostly. But the term "sheeple" has a longer and darker history (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheeple ).

Look at that you learn something new every day, thanks for pointing that out. I probably should have quoted the OP on that one, as it was ...

Sheeple is a term nutnfancy uses in his philosophy videos. Sure watch his reviews on gear but take the opinions with a grain of salt. Feel free to form your own from time to time.

The other stuff has been covered already; essentially use common sense and discretion. You already know the legal ...

salt 1 SE black makes more sense. gonna do that instead of a tasman SE. thanks!

or maybe a ladybug.... how many fingers of grip?

Pull the trigger on a Ladybug Salt Hawkbill, you won't regret it. It's close to a 3 finger grip, the flat part will rest on your ring finger. Stick a lanyard on it and ...

My Dragonfly Salt seems to have a bit of friction too, not so much that I can't open it, but that the blade doesn't just "snap" back in when opened 1/2" or so. But I'm not sure how much of that "friction" feeling is just because I'm used to my other more-used knives - My Pacific Salt of course has ...

Good to hear! I can empathize with your impending legislation. Pretty soon all locking blades will be going the way of the dinosaurs. Thank you politicians!!

And yeah, 90% of my edc chores can probably be accomplished by my ladybugs. Though it's always fun to see the stares when you whip out a ...

Thanks for the tips guys! Had it for about 2 weeks and it looks pretty clean inside but obviously you can't see beside the tang. I don't really want to take it apart, correction: don't really want to void the warranty so here's my plan of attack.

Check the lockbar screw for tightness (seems to ...

Dragonfly2 Salt Question

Hi guys and gals,

This is my first time starting a thread here, been doing a lot of reading and searched before I asked but couldn't seem to find an answer to this question.

My Dragonfly's blade is very sticky coming out of the handle. It was like this when I first got it and assumed the pivot ...

Would the Native 5 have to be hollow ground to get the SE? Seems to me that most SE blades are either hollow or saber ground, or do they also make it with FFG? I really like the look of the new jimping especially on the choil, it would be a major selling point on the new one for me, even with the ...

I would say that depends on your goals. Is it only this one knife you want to duracoat? It will require an airbrush and compressor which already puts you above $40. Do you get enjoyment out of doing things yourself? Do you have a proper workspace? If you do decide to go for the DIY I would reccomend ...

Seriously shipping to Canada sucks. I can understand paying $25 for a purchase over $100, but when the shipping matches or even exceeds the purchase it's outrageous. Especially hate it when they don't offer USPS. Am I at home all day to wait for the UPS guy? Never.

flippers are extremely strong knives in their opened form. They are very underrated. oh yeah, they are fun too. If you lived in oregon you could do whatever you want with them.

Sadly one of the few places where you can. My interest is small, mostly because I know I will slice my hands up if I get ...

Just got mine in the mail yesterday :D so excited to use it as it's very confidence inspiring. I am confident in Spyderco's design and if by chance the pivot should fail I believe it would either be a defect or misuse. I wouldn't want to torque the blade too much. If I do have a failure that is not ...

Are there bandwith limits from your internet providers? I use netflix up here north of the border but I've got a 50GB limit so if I watch too much it can get pretty expensive. The telecom companies aren't happy with people watching less TV so they made a pretty sneaky move to cap the bandwiths for ...
