I was considering adding electric tape to the blade end of the handle to increase the diameter & theoretically the tension as well. I got mine in hand finally. Glad to have purchased it, but I do miss the og smallfly blade shape. I’m sure this one is more utilitarian, but far less symmetrical and has a different weight to it. Still happy with my purchase! Don’t hesitate to buy one if you’re on the fence.

I love the idea of a fixed blade, in fact I have a few fixed blades that were previously owned by deceased relatives and I'll likely carry one of those as well. That's part of the reason I was considering a small gentleman's folder for the pocket as an addition.
