S&W .38 snub. Then pepper spray. If I was reduced to using a knife for self-defense I'm probably already a goner.

I live in Virginia (home of the NRA) and Maryland is right next door. They are an interesting state. The urban areas of the State (e.g., DC Suburbs, Baltimore) tend to be much more left-leaning. But the rural areas of the state (e.g., Western MD in the mountains and Southern MD south of DC) are fai...

I have a carry permit for my home state and carry here and in other states that have the reciprocal agreement. I never carry in states that don't have the reciprocal agreement such as the People's Republic of Maryland.

Byrds are solid well made knives. Should be just as dependable as Spydercos. But Spydercos are more refined which is why alot of us prefer them. They just exude quality.

I sent a knife in for sharpening a while back. Turn-around time was about two weeks. They did a good job on my CE Delica. The plain edge portion cuts like a flat grind now. The service is free with a $5 charge for shipping. Is Spyderco a great company or what?

AO just seems like a gimmick to me. What's the point? Spydercos are plenty fast and easy to open with just the thumb-hole.

The Dragonfly blade is perfect for a small knife. But the handle could be a liitle bigger. Similar to the Byrd Robin would be nice.

I never thought about it until this thread started but I can get my index and middle fingers in the finger groove of the Delica. It's a tight fit but still feels pretty comfortable. With the Endura there's a little more space and still pretty comfortable. I can see how it would be uncomfortable if t...

Tenacious looks like a good knife. But I prefer lockbacks to liner locks. That's why I'd like to see the Endura with FFG plus CE. That would be a heck of a knife.

The millie looks interesting. Must be the only Spyderco model with both FFG and CE.
