Re: Janisong 2 etc

I still want one! Disappointed in the latest Smallfly aesthetics. Want a Janisong.

Re: Spyderfly and Janisong in the USA

I really want a Janisong! Got to flip one at SHOT Show a few years ago. Please do a Golden sprint run!

Re: Spyderco Police CO7s

Donut has a point. I'm a police officer who carries my back-up knife in my support side (left for me) pocket. It allows a officer to protect his weapon with the dominant side hand and deal with the threat with the other, whether blade, back-up gun, or empty hand. Any knife I would buy for duty use m...

Re: The Jani Song has landed

I had the pleasure of manipulating a Jani-Song prototype at SHOT Show 2014. Easily the most wanted knife on my all-time wish list. It has Mr. Janich's great design and Spyderco's quality build. I will buy more than one.

Re: Janisong

I got to flip a Jani-Song at SHOT Show this year. It is a great design that I am sorry is not in production. It is not quite like manipulating a traditional Bali-Song, but your hand warms up to the altered motion. After talking to Mr. Janich a while back, then actually handling a Jani-Song, I have t...

That's great, Speedyfish! Nice pic! Since we can't take pictures of the prototype case - we have to make our own! :) I always take a little notebook to the show so I can make note of the models I'm interested in. I sketched a little picture of the Gayle Bradley 2 this year - but I'll spare you guys...

Ronin 2 Prototype

I was able to examine a Ronin 2 prototype at Blade Show 2014. This is an image I digitally altered from my Yojimbo 2 to look like the Ronin 2 I handled at Blade. It is not exact, but it is darn close to the proto. More here: http://bladebarrelbezel.com/2014/06/28/spyderco-roni...

DutchBlades,

If you are going to use my photo, at least give a link to the article that goes with it! :)

I really like my Karahawk. It is a solid knife and an interesting interpretation. I like that it is more slim than another one made by some earnest fellow. I wrote an article with quite a few photos here: http://bladebarrelbezel.com/2013/12/24/ ... fe-review/

I like the idea of different blades. Jani-Song with a Wharnie? Sweet!

I was able to ask Mr. Janich about the Jani-Song last year at SHOT Show, but he requested our talk to be off the record (which I certainly honored). At the 2014 SHOT Show, I saw a prototype Jani-Song in the case at the smaller Spyderco booth. Mr. Janich was busy, so I missed speaking to him about it...

New Spyderco/Kahr Arms Delica4

Does anyone else see a resemblance between the new Kahr Arms Delica4 and Michael Janich's custom reverse Wharncliffe Endura?

Looks like a May delivery date, according to Kahr's website.

Sorry, Shakyamuni. That is too nice to lose!

TSA, or a Southwest baggage handler, got my FFG Brown Delica. I had stonewashed a bright clip for it. Not as nice as your Para, but still made me mad/sad/homicidal.

Good to go here. I swapped blackened hardware and black FRN scales to an Emerson opener-ed blade, but I really want the whole deal in black. Please, please, please?!
