I feel that I should warn you not to go to extremes when it comes to sleep. You'll pay for it later. Believe me. I know. Vamp, as for sleep apnea that you mentioned on another post, it WILL get worse without treament. Take care guys, and be well. "Visits? That would indicate visitors!" - E...

Terrific responses and great topic. As my username implies, I'm a director for a sleep disorders center. I carry a Native and Dragonfly as my EDC because I want to. (Besides, I can open up the boxes and cases when supplies arrived for our 2 centers). "Visits? That would indicate visitors!"...

My favorite spyderco has been my trusty dragonfly until I received the Native from Linda. However, for over a month, I hadn't dared to use the Native because of the thin tip. An unexpected opportunity came up where I found that the Native was close by, and ever since that event, it's been at my side...

Wow! Great quotes! My most memorable was a one word phrase that lasted about a minute in the movie RAMBO, First Blood II: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRGGGGG!!!" Slyvester Stallone saying as he's shooting up the comm center at the end of the film. "Visits? That would indicate vi...

Thank you all for the nice replies. I only snapped it open a few times but I'm sticking with the thumb opening for now after getting laser-beamed stares from my family. BTW, the spydie-drop was cool too.

Is snapping open your knife considered an abuse

I received my Native from Linda while I was watching "Cliffhanger" during the part when Frank was cutting down a kid from his parachute harness with what appeared to be a Military knife. He flicked his wrist down a bit and the blade dropped an inch or so, then he "snapped" it ope...

One bright day, in the middle of the night two dead boys got up to fight. Back to back, they faced each other. Drew their swords and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise, and came and shot the two dead boys. If you don't believe this lie is true, Ask the blind man...he saw it too. "...

I have both the FRN Dragonfly and the Jester. The surprising thing was that I found it easier to open the Jester on either hand than the Dragonfly only on the right hand. Both arrived together and the Dragonfly is still a little stiff but loosening a bit more everyday. "Visits? That would indic...

I wouldn't dare have a native like that in my pocket; I'll keep it under lock and simply enjoy it within the confines of home. It really is a work of art.
