One color I would love to see a LOT more of is red. Not maroon or crimson, but a vibrant neon red.

Well it's up to you, M390 is quite a bit easier to sharpen, but S90V holds it's edge longer (provided you dont beat the crap out if it, as it lacks the toughness that M390 has). If you've seen the CajunBlaze's youtube videos, you will know his S90V CF Para2 is his #1 all time fav knife (and he owns ...

Well it is a sprint run, with only 500 or so in existance, which contributes to the price. If you think it's worth it, then go for it before someone else get it! If not, I guess you can try elsewhere. But remember, few will be willing to part with theirs.

I found a site that is based rather close to where I live, they sell the all black version for $125. So I'll probably buy it there in the end, Thanks. :p

Hey dude, where are you looking that the DLC one is $40 bucks more? That doesn't sound too good.

Amazon.com
The price for a satin-black Para 2 is $115, $125 Digi-satin, $145 DLC-black, and $180 for Digi-DLC
Note that these were the prices at the time I looked, and it may or may not have changed ...

Hey man, do you think I should get the satin finish, or save up for the DLC version? I dont have a lot of money to spend, but I want a para 2. Also, should I get the black G-10 handle or the Digi-camo? I just wanna know what you like the most, and if its worth the 40 extra bucks for the DLC?
Thanks!

I've never handled a squeak, How does it's steel compare to the VG-10 on the Ladybug?

Skyline ergos aren't great but it makes up for that with the blade, smoothness and the razor edge it takes. With the money you have, get the native 5 :)
At that price range I would rather get a Paramilitary 2, but it looks too similar to my Tenacious. And I'm not an extreme Spyderco collector ...

Another counterfiet

This is more of a counterfiet Smith & Wesson that steals some design aspects from Spyderco, such as the round hole.

These edges are cosmeticly mediocre at best, but they have the infamous scratch pattern that makes them scary sharp (I.E. the hair flies off your arm)!

Also a sporting goods store nearby (AL's Sporting Goods if you are familiar) sells
Native 1's, but at the staggering MSRP of $100. So I just went there to handle one, and it's amazing! Now luckily, Amazon has them for only $50! So thats another variable in my choice, hmm...

I have owned a few Ripples in my lifetime and they make excellent blades. Just be sure to loctite the pivot as it can get loose very easily. Excellent build and I'll most definitely choose it over the Skyline without hesitation. From what I hear, Walmart currently has some at $29.99. Get it before ...

Ok, first of all you are on a spyderco forum so the answer is obvious. However, those are all good choices. Before anything there are a couple of questions for you. Do you own any other knives? How much are you willing to spend? For what purpose will you be using the knife? What kind of lock do you ...

I have a confession to make :(

I am thinking about gettin myself a Native 1 for Christmas, but recently I have been caught in deciding between it and some competing company's blades.
They are:
Kershaw Skyline
CRKT Blue Ripple
Benchmade Mini Griptillian (yep a would be hipocrite, but if I get one I promise I'll get the thumb stud ...
