I also see that You have a screw for pivot: did You change it or just the new version? It is possible to replace it on my old version without screw? Thank You very much. Firstly, thanks for the compliments, I will convey them to Gareth Bull. The pivot came with the Screw, the rest of it is pinned, ...

So back to a question I asked long ago about work hardening H1...if the action of grinding serrations is what makes H1 serrations have such great edge retention, would the additional grinding of a regrind have the same effect? Gareth did mention that it was like working with Putty compared with M4(...

David, I had my BM 760 sent in together with the Pacific Salt, in my mind if I am paying for shipping, I maximise the load. http://www.sablade.com/forums/showthread.php?2518-Pimp-and-Grind I've got to find someone in the states that can do a quality regrind. I'm dying to have some work done to my Yo...

Strider/Hinderer, combo/serated edge, non ergonomic handle, blade coatings(most times- depends on desperation to get last of blade availability/If I really have to have that cool carbon Blade-WHY???), Tanto.

Oh yeah - MADE IN CHINA - No, no, not ever

But I have learnt, never say never

I investment cast 440C steel and it is HTed to 57/58 C on the Rockwell scale... I would assumethat Spyderco have and will do the same... I have tried other steel, and it works the best for cutting...once you have tried one, you will see what I mean... Congrats Zackerty, It looks like a winner- I am...

My XHP Millie takes a lick on the 600 DMT and still shaves, races through paper- news paper, I really prefer the ease at which it allows me to hone that edge, much like RWL34(CPM154), its bite and ease of working I am really enjoying, I did not really enjoy my Mule(M390), I was disappointed with its...

Great Wouter's pictures as always. Just a detail about the Chaparral 3, I would have been curious to see how it would have looked like if they have aligned borders of "squares" along different axis like drawn in red on the picture, instead of along the black lines like they did. Interesti...

Only own two Framelocks in Ti, I prefer Linerlocks and G10 and CF, no more sticky Micarta either, I will say that Ti does have appeal with me, just not to use, weight, grip and symetry are more important. I rather place my users in a pouch than have a clip on them, just more comfy to hold for me! I ...
