Thanks for the responses, I was just making sure that mine wasn't out of spec. I've gotten it to a point I'm ok with, still needs more breaking in though. I was just expecting a smoother knife, when its brother is extremely smooth and flies open and falls closed and is solid as a bank vault. I can b...

Native 5 Forum Knife Issue...

Received mine today, fit and finish are superb. Just as expected feel and solid lock up. However, the action on mine is fairly stiff. I tried loosening the pivot and lubricated it with tufglide and that made a slight difference. I'm surprised that there is an issue since there is supposed to be a bu...

Latest acquisition

When I first got into Spyderco I had my eye on the Native, for one reason or another I've always talked myself out of buying one. But when I saw KC's new exclusive I couldn't pass it up. I've seen quite a few sprints come and go but this is the first I felt I had to get. The quality on this is piece...

Thanks all! I'm sorry about the pictures they were taken last night on my phone, which is sadly the only camera I possess. However, I took a few more this morning anyway... At least they're brighter! :)

Finished a Mule!

I bought the Woodcrafter Mule about a year ago and just today finished this bad boy. It's my first time attempting to put scales on a knife so I think it went pretty well. I definitely learned a lot so hopefully when I get to putting carbon fiber on my M390 Mule I don't make the same mistakes. Let m...

Knifeworks Deal?

Knifeworks is selling Ti Chinese Lums for 99.95 right now. Seems like a good deal to me, I just picked one up. What do you all think?

A titanium cricket would be cool. However I'm sure the price tag that comes along with it wouldn't be.

It's a shame this thread is so old, because that means there wasn't much interest in the idea... However, I think an Atwood/Spyderco collaboration would be amazing! (But that's dreaming...:rolleyes :) But a Spyderco bottle opener in general would be cool. Just my two cents, no matter how late to the...

New Purchase!

I received a Dragonfly II Salt a couple days ago as something to take the edge off while I save up for a Gayle Bradley. When I first opened up the package I was a little disappointed with how small it actually is, but it grew on me really fast. This is an awesome little EDC. The F&F on it is ver...

Deep wire pocket clip on all models for sure. That clip is the best on the market period.
