Re: Dragonfly H1 Hawkbill for self defence
I have argued a lot that even the hawkbill Ladybug is a great SD knife, so I`d say go for it.

Re: UHC - Ultra High Carbon steel sprint run
IIRC UHC is a steel from Heimo Roselli in Finland. He uses that steel on some of his knives.

Re: I wish Spyderco would make...
More wood and brass, have less screws in the handle scales ( for example Myrtle and One Eyed Jack). I desire a cleaner design.
Other than that I am very happy with Spyderco. It is one of those companies that will always offer something interesting every year.

Re: Definite purchases out of the new releases?
I really like the One Eyed Jack. Seems like a classic custom knife. They could`ve done without the inlays, but either way it is a very nice looking knife.

Re: One-Eyed Jack
This one is definately on the buy list. Depending on price of course, but together with the Nirvana it truly looks, and I bet feels, like a custom knife.

Re: EDC and the general public
The people who know me, know my habit of carrying knives. I prefer avoiding that people notice I am carrying by using deep carry clips, matte finished when possible or carrying IWB (In the waistband) I also do this. However I found out that people are far too absorbed in their own world here to not...

Re: Amsterdam meet countdown
I`m really looking forward to attend this sunday. Will people bring their knives to do a show and tell? I`m already thinking about what to bring. There are so many Spyderco models that I have never held I hope you all bring lots and lots of Spydies.

Re: Spyderco Myrtle (C194CFTIP)
I love the design and name (my mothers name) and I would probably get one if it wasnt for the huge amount of screws used in the handle. Destroys the design imo.

Re: Mantra or Mantra 2?
I got my Mantra 2 today, and I`m loving it. It really feels like a premium Delica which is a great thing. Mine is very smooth and the detent is just right. I`ll enjoy this for a long time.

Re: Mantra or Mantra 2?
Man I am longing for the Mantra 2. I can`t wait until a reputable dealer here in Europe gets it for a reasonable price. One of my must haves for 2016.
