Don't get me wrong, the Caspian looks sweet! I saw some videos on YouTube about it. I like the fact that with that large grip hole you can, to a degree, use your fingers to tie knots, do other things, etc. while retaining the knife in your hand. I just don't have a good enough reason to buy it right ...

I washed my non-H1 Ladybug more than once and washed and dried it one time. Other than being cleaner, I observed no ill effects.

I really like the look of the marine yellow, though a reviewer on YouTube pointed out on his that the color faded:

No big deal as I plan to use it. My first choice would be orange, but it's not offered.

BTW, another big thank you to all who took both the time to reply and offer helpful suggestions. Some forums tend to be "cliquish" and indifferent at best to new members with questions. It means a lot.
